There’s a New Louis Vuitton Monogram Icon in Town

Introduced for Pre-Fall 2025, take a look at the brand new Odyssée bag

Louis Vuitton Odysee Bag

Few designer motifs are as internationally recognized as Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram logo canvas. Initially created for use on trunks meant for sea and train travel, it is not only one of the world’s most recognizable luxury materials but also one of the most durable.

Created by Louis Vuitton’s son, George, in 1896, Louis Vuitton Monogram has remained a classic for well over a century. The motif continues to stand the test of time, remaining a rare classic that will never go out of style.

Timeless icons that will be loved and used for decades and generations to come, Louis Vuitton’s Monogram canvas bags remain some of the most coveted in its line-up. For Pre-Fall 2025, a new icon joins the Monogram family.

Introducing the Louis Vuitton Odyssée Bag

Meet the adorable new Odyssée bag, launched for pre-fall 2025. Inspired by Cruise 2024’s Excursion backpack, the bag combines the Maison’s storied roots in travel with a contemporary, everyday appeal.

Cute and compact yet undeniably functional, the silhouette plays on the cargo bag trend that has reigned for the last few seasons. As it’s modeled after a backpack, the bag has a drawstring closure and magnetic flap.

Designed with dual functionality in mind, the Odyssée can be worn as a day bag with the leather strap or worn for a night out with the decorative chain strap for a more elevated appeal. Both straps are entirely removable, and side pockets enhance the bag’s usability, which arrives in a calfskin iteration as well. Discover the details via Louis Vuitton.

this bag is doing a lot.

NYCprep

It’s the definition of a bipolar bag – it wants to be casual but also wants to be fancy – fails on both counts

We are surprised to see these bags going for 3,000 dollars. THE 300 OR 500 mark up. I can’t do it anymore. Goings to China. Bags look cheap.

Loch

Exactly! Too much in fact 😬

Fabuleux

It seems to work better in full leather than in monogram canvas. It’s also vaguely reminiscent of the Theda bag.

They also copied the end pockets from the Chanel 25.

Sandra

lol you mean Chanel invented the pocket? Delulu!

Agree. Looks like a lot of competing details, monogram, chain, vachetta color, leather drawstring, gold buckle, vachetta leather side straps.

The all leather bag looks nice. Would have been nice to see a full model shot.

“The motif continues to stand the test of time, remaining a rare classic that will never go out of style.”

You might want to remove “rare” from that statement. LV mono hasn’t been rare for the past few decades. Ubiquitous would be a better description.

That ‘LV’ logo on the flap on the leather annoys me so much. They keep putting it on their newer more expensive bags.

Patricia Heller

I don’t mind the round LV logo. It gives a vintage feel to the bag or accessory. However, I think it looks best when it’s on a piece that doesn’t also have a monogram pattern.

Chen

Hate it so much!!!

NYCprep

What if someone does not realize this is a LV bag? LOL

Maisy

Sell it to me for its actual price please.

Kaly

It’s very….busy
