One of the reasons I love fashion month is seeing all the bags and clothing people wear to the shows. Sure, the shows are essential for upcoming trends and newness, but I also like to see bags carried, not on the runway. Granted, I might as well call this a runway because Fashion Week arrivals are out of this world.
Hermès is the ultimate fashion month invite. Editors dream of being invited, and most of us wonder what the show may be like. Many of the attendees are VVIPs of the brand, which means their personal collection of Hermès bags includes special orders, rarities we’ve only heard about, and lots of exotics.
I already anticipate a comment that says, “It can’t be that rare if we see it all in one place,” but remember, this is all the brand’s most important clients bringing out their best H bags and wears.
Hermès Heaven
Thanks to social media, the elusive Himalaya Birkin has become known to many of us—at least visually. I still find it astounding to see in the wild.
There were many other special bags, including a tiny Teddy Kelly, beautiful butter yellow bags (a trend we love), Hermès bags accessorized with Hermès bags, and more.
Grab your coffee and give yourself a solid ten minutes to thoroughly enjoy every detail these images have to offer!
Has anyone else noticed how amazing some women make a bag look? Sometimes there are bags that I know would never work for me personally, but I see a picture here or I see some woman walking down the street with the bag and I think wow! She makes that bag look cool. I love being inspired!
The woman with the mini Medor is a style queen.
Hands down😍I think I have seen her in another PurseBlog post.
Gorgeous isn’t it
Grece Ghanem is iconic!
I have always wondered who she is. I just googled her and I want to be like her when I grow up🥰. Goes to show you that having style is limitless and ageless. Thanks for sharing her names
I don’t even want a Birkin, but the burgandy crocodile is GORGEOUS.
That one caught my eye as well. So dreamy…
Agreed! Stunning!!
Does your Birkin’s Birkin have its own Birkin? No, but my Kelly’s Kelly has its own Kelly! I’m not sure what’s crazier, the fact that handbag jewelry now has its own jewelry or all those belt buckles in their hair.
Carry a bag worth 100K on the street, don’t be surprised someone snatches it out of your hands. That’s all I am saying!
I’m sorry that you don’t have a Birkin/Kelly, nor live in a nice area where you can take a Birkin/Kelly out 🤡
Why have so many people agreed w this sentiment? It’s such a catty comment. Can’t we ignore trolls like this?
You sure make a lot of assumptions about me. 🤣🤣🤣
You’re an idiot #1Snob. Yep wear a bag which had such cruel and unethical treatment in order for the animal to grow. I think those people should be attacked and not admired.
I’m so tired of looking at Birkin’s!
My daughter and her friends despise Hermes and in particular the Birkin. I think for some younger people, it’s not a bag that holds the same kind of status than it did for my generation. She loves smaller brands and new designers. She loves to wear pieces that are different and unexpected. You are definitely not alone.
I haven’t used my Birkin bags in over two years because after a back injury, I had to downsize. Even the 30 can get quite heavy. So they just look pretty in my closet. 😋
I understand that not every brand or bag is for everyone. We work to incorporate various brands, styles, and price points in our editorial with different angles and coverage. Some people love Birkins and Kellys, and some do not. Some love celebrity coverage. Some do not.
I aim to offer diversity in content and coverage, so there is something for everyone here. We love accessories and want them to bring us all together!
No one told you to read this article, nor write a comment 🤣
Way to scream “omg I wish I HAD a BIRKIN!! 😭🤬” without saying it 💅👜
You need purpose. What you’re doing ain’t working.
Ignore #1Snob. It’s the same poster who posts under different names and then somehow miraculous gets dozens of likes within minutes. It’s so obvious, it’s pathetic. They are always bullying their way through the comment section. That’s why many regular posters don’t come here anymore. Sadly, Vlad and Meg haven’t found a way to boot them yet.
Then don’t look!
settle down catie.
They are the most unethical company in the world and their exotic bags should be banned given how the animals are treated during their life cycle. Hermes is the most pathetic of all the luxury companies.
Hermès is exploiting Australian crocodiles (worldanimalprotection.org.au)
I’m just having such a hard time at the cost of this bag versus a bag that you can’t really wear over your shoulder because the straps are too short, they either need to be completely closed up and locked or fall completely open, exposing all of your belongings and making it difficult to quickly grab sunglasses or keys.At that cost, you’re not putting it on the ground at a restaurant or asking for a chair to put it on. It’s too big to sit on the table or on your lap. it just sometimes feels like “the emperor has no clothes”. I love my Evelyne. I take her shopping, to the grocery store, to my grandkids baseball games. I’ve even taken her to the beach and yes, one time I took her horseback riding because there was no place to put her! And it was perfect!
What is the ring, or maybe it’s a bracelet worn as as a ring(?) that the women in plaid are both wearing – anyone know?
it’s the Hermes Kelly Gavroche double ring
