Maison Goyard, one of the world’s oldest and most elusive luxury brands, remains one of the few makers of luxury bags that is extremely tight-lipped. Offering little information readily available to the public, Goyard prefers to keep things hush-hush, steering clear of flashy runway shows, editorial previews, and public launches.

In fact, if you don’t pay close enough attention, you might miss the latest from Goyard. The Maison even opted to hold off on a social media presence for years, only debuting its Instagram account in 2016. Still, despite its shield of mystery, Goyard remains one of the most recognizable handbag brands in the world.

Introducing the Limited-Edition Evening Collection

Its Goyardine canvas is beloved for its distinct style, durability, and functionality. Today, we’re taking a closer look at the newest addition to the Maison’s Goyardine family: a collection of limited-edition evening bags, arriving just in time for the holiday season, in stunning colors to match every mood.

Goyard’s emblematic canvas sees reinvention once again, arriving in metallic gold and silver, alongside the alluring Capitonnage Goyardine canvas, which celebrates the magic of Paris at night. Capitonnage Goyardine combines deep black canvas with subtle white chevron details, a nod to the quilting of the Maison’s historic trunks.

Capitonnage Goyardine: A Tribute to Paris at Night

Debuting in Capitonnage Goyardine canvas are two iconic silhouettes: the Saïgon Mini Trunk and the Alto Hatbox Trunk, plus a range of other shapes, including the Dé trunk, Duchesse Marie-Caroline, and Monte-Carlo PM.

The new Capitonnage Goyardine encapsulates the heritage and craft of Goyard and the magic of the season without feeling specific to now, making it perfect for the holiday season and well beyond. Visit Goyard.com to discover more.

I admired Goyard bags when they were hand painted however since they’ve stopped doing that I can’t justify the price for just a thin canvas bag …. So they can avoid selling to me and I will avoid buying from them LOL

Fabuleux

They haven’t been hand painted in decades.

Anyone able to locate the cost for any of these bags in black?! Possibility of availability in California? They are beautiful, but I am running out of patience with this reclusive manner in whether you are “able “to purchase. Who’s running this show??! They are in the business of selling bags. Don’t make me stand in line….. answer my emails. Put your price next to your bag. There are two brands that do this; Goyard and Hermes. And frankly, I’m a little tired of both.

In Milan, whilst on holiday, we came across a store, walked right in, lovely staff, no issues at all, it’s all a farce.

My SA in nyc said to try in Europe. They never have anything good in the US.

Bravo, girl! Plenty of other deserving options out there. And don’t discard resale as one of them. Sometimes the quality of a bygone year is better than what the labels are churning out now. I’ve been appalled at some of what I’ve seen last few years.

I just had an email exchange with Goyard in, I’m assuming, Beverly Hills which is near me. They told me they would not confirm what was in stock, they told me they would not hold a bag for me. They told me they would not confirm that when I got there an SA would be able to take care of me. I told him they are almost 2 hours away in traffic one way and did they really expect me to take a four hour car ride with no guarantees of what I may or may not be able to purchase. And these people are in the business of sales. Unbelievable.

And there is almost always a line in front of that very store. I don’t get it. I don’t chase any of theirs or Hermès or Chanel bags because of this ridiculous uncertainty. It’s not worth it. I’ll walk in a store (if there’s no line) during travel to see what chance might bring my way, that’s about it.
