Spending time on figuring out the right gift for the people I love is one of my favorite things to do. I love the joy and excitement both myself and the gift receiver get when opening a well-thought out item. Of course I’d be lying if I said I don’t like a great gift myself, I still remember the joy I felt over a perfectly planned birthday by Vlad, but I’m one of those people that really like to gift others.
Father’s Day this year is really special for us as it’s Vlad’s first Father’s Day and I’m really excited to spend the day with him and Millie. I have the added bonus that my dad lives in town and I can visit him too! While I love a good homemade gift and always try to make that part of holidays, a little luxury never hurt. This Father’s Day gift guide is filled with gifts I know Vlad would love (especially since he already owns some of these items on my list). Every morning Vlad takes Millie for a long walk and let’s me get a bit more sleep after I’m up with her during the night. Millie knows that mornings are for her and her dada because after I nurse her in bed, she looks over at Vlad and smiles really big waiting for him to wake up and start his day with her. He takes these headphones on every walk and listens to podcasts while he power-walks with Millie sipping his Starbucks. Note: if your man runs hot, he says these headphone will make your head sweat because they are heavy and large! But he still loves them.

I’ve given similar card cases to many, from Vlad to my dad to my brother, and they all love a small slim card case like this. I find that while my wallet needs to be massive to carry every item and receipt, dudes tend to want a slim case that holds the cards they immediately need and not much more. If the dad in your life loves a great pair of kicks, check out Feit brand. Vlad is OBSESSED. He owns so many pair of these and swears by them. There are only a few left in a couple colors on Mr. Porter right now, but there is a store in NYC and you can check out their site online. Bonus, they have women’s shoes too and I have a pair of sneakers that I love.
4. Leica X Typ 113 Compact Camera

Most of you know by now that Vlad is an avid photographer and camera collector and many of you have asked which gear he uses. While he doesn’t use this exact Leica, he said it’s a really good entry level Leica.

My dad loves Hermès ties and I must say they’re my go to for many holidays for him. You’d think he’d get sick of them, but he said you can never have enough Hermès ties!
6. Louis Vuitton Keepall 55 Bandouliere

A Louis Vuitton Keepall has always been on my list of great gift options for Vlad, he would love it. And I think I found a version he would be obsessed with. Designed in collaboration with the Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, this bag features a black version of the LV monogram along with a black band across the front. The end result is perfect for the dad who travels, loves LV, and prefers a monochromatic look.
7. Coach Sweatshirt with Space Patches

Coach is the epitome of the American cool brand right now and there was a big space theme for the spring collection. If dad loves space, this sweatshirt isn’t too in your face but adds space patches in black to make this a little different.
8. Prada Saffiano Golf Charm Key Chain

It’s fairly cliche, but a lot of dads do love golf, including mine. This is a pretty great gift if you want to give a touch of luxury and the dad in your life loves golf.
