There was a time when Black Friday was only a day of shopping, and people would camp out starting on Thanksgiving Day, waiting to nab the best deal the next morning for Black Friday. It was chaos, marked by fights, trampling, and newsworthy events. I never participated; I always stayed home. I am forever a fan of online shopping, and with Cyber Week becoming a more extended event, you have more time to plan and find what is actually a deal.
Although my day-to-day schedule will be spent catching up on emails and finishing projects from Thanksgiving week, I am also spending part of today shopping. I can call it business research, when really it was me waiting until today to get my act together and check some items off my list, and not miss the Cyber week deals that are still going strong.
I keep mentioning this, but it bears repeating: I don’t have the kind of funds to buy everyone on my list designer bags. I would love that, but it isn’t what my bank account allows, so instead, I still go back to my favorite sites to find great items that I know my family and friends will love.
