Ferragamo Launches Capsule Collection to Celebrate Its Hollywood History

Salvatore Ferragamo is an Italian company, but what you might not realize is that the brand’s founder and namesake got his start in Southern California. Ferragamo set up shop in Santa Barbara in 1914, and to celebrate both the brand’s 99-year presence in California and its sponsorship of the first annual Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Gala, the brand is releasing The Annenberg Collection of handbags, shoes and jewels.

This exclusive collection, which goes on sale at Moda Operandi starting October 24 and is also available via Ferragamo’s official site and in a pop-up shop at the Annenberg Center in Los Angeles, consists of new versions of Ferragamo classics. That includes everything from an adorable mini Sofia keychain that goes for $230 to a peach alligator Sofia Bag priced at $27,000 and, as you might imagine, lots of things in between.
