Maximilian Davis’ time at Ferragamo has been defined by his modern approach to Ferragamo’s distinct DNA and iconic heritage. The Soft is a prime example of this; taking direct inspiration from an archival silhouette, it breathes new life into signature House elements.
Juxtaposing structure and softness, the Soft bag is defined by supple nappa leather gathered to form a beautifully pleated, eye-catching, and interesting shape.
The leather used on the Soft bag has a touch of sheen that catches the light, adding a hint of modernity to the archival-inspired silhouette.
A metal pin holds the pleating in place, which is completed with a Gancio hook on either side, an ode to Ferragamo’s history.
Furthering the bag’s innovative appeal is its duality. Designed with straps that allow for shoulder carry, they can also be tucked inside so the soft bag can be carried as a sleek pouch.
