And just like that, those unseasonably warm temperatures that show-goers were blessed with on day 2 of NYFW dropped, and it was back to the winter weather that we’re used to seeing during fashion week. The cold weather and snowy streets did not stop fashion’s finest from showing up and showing out, though, and we’re impressed to see so many braving the cold in outfits that most definitely weren’t winter-weather ready. As for the bags, day 3 brought with it plenty of stunning handbags, from those we know and love to more under-the-radar standouts from contemporary and indie designers too.

The Best Street Style Bags from NYFW Day 3

The Celine Triomphe looks good even when worn with Grandma’s bedspread.
Much of the Clothing looks like it came off the set of an “Austin Powers” movie.
You give them too much credit!
Garish is the new black – – apparently.
Ok, the elephant in the room is the “cookie” bag, but I ❤️ it!
The checkered purse in #25 is a Vivienne Westwood Yasmine bag.
I thought so…I’ve been scouting the preloved market for Vivienne Westwood bags, but they are so infrequently available. I really want a tartan bag that isn’t a Burberry plaid
The 2nd to last bag, the semi-transparent vinyl black bag, is by Mame Kurogouchi
Do I spy candace Bushnell? She looks lovely and age appropriate
Can you try to take full outfit pictures? Much preferred over just a bag
We’ll aim to do both going forward, full looks and bag details!
No don’t do that 😵💫 I like the current mix of up close and just a few full outfit when the bag is basic. I want to see the bag details up close. 👍
no don’t do that 😵💫. I want to see the bags up close.
The pink Valentino is my favorite. I REALLY want a pink bag!
That sequined Chanel sure is a stunner!
Exciting lineup!
Does anyone realize the “Peekaboo” isn’t a Fendi? Clearly a knockoff.
Thanks John, you were right. I’ve removed it from the lineup!
LOL and the pic was removed!
Where?
The 8 pic is a vintage Loewe bag, I think so.
The owner is wearing a Loewe boots.
