There are so many amazing things about being able to do what I love on a daily basis. Working here at PurseBlog has brought me so much delight, and I truly enjoy everything this job has to offer. However, there is one perk of my job that is totally unique: getting to see, carry and test out the best of the best designer handbags. I will say, however, that it is both a blessing and a curse. I’m currently planning my next big bag buy, and I’m constantly texting Megs about what my choices are. Like all of us here at PurseBlog, my lust list is ever-changing and always growing! Just when I thought I had made up my mind, this pretty little lady threw me a curveball.
Enter Christian Louboutin‘s Eloise Small Two Handle Bag. I’m obsessed. I simply can’t get enough. He’s known for his signature red bottoms, and I just don’t think Louboutin’s handbags get enough credit! I immediately fell for the bag’s olive-toned calf leather, structured shape and chic spikes. The bag has two interior pockets, including one with a zip, as well as two snap pockets on the exterior. I took this bag with me to a press preview and I was surprised at its size. I was able to pack my digital camera, wallet and my cosmetics case, as well as both my personal phone and my work phone. Everything I needed was all in one place, which is what made me love this bag even more.
This bag is super easy to carry and can be carried as a top handle bag or thrown over your shoulder using the adjustable, but optional, shoulder strap. I really love the unique combo of this olive green calf leather and embroidered beauty, but the bag comes in solid options as well. Overall dimensions are 9.5″ x 12″ x 5.5″. $1,850 via Christian Louboutin, or $1,750 for solid leather via Saks.
This is really pretty. I love the embroidery. Still a little small for me though.
I love a blinked out, over-the-top bag, but this one just seems to be too busy.
