Virginie Viard’s Chanel is modern, fun, and exploratory. While Karl Lagerfeld’s influence will always live within the spirit of Chanel, with each collection, Viard differentiates herself from her iconic predecessor. Collections are less thematic and focus more on what the modern Chanel girl wants to wear.
For Spring 2024, according to Viard, that’s easy silhouettes with a hint of Parisian elegance. Leisure meets luxury. Think dresses with fluid movement, twin sets, cashmere pullovers, and jackets in striped terrycloth. Other silhouettes were clearly inspired by summers at the seaside.
“Sophistication and informality, the tweed throughout the collection, sportswear, and lace: I tried to bring one thing and its opposite together in the coolest way possible.” -Virginie Viard
The Bags of Chanel Spring 2023
As for the bags themselves, they offer a little bit of everything. A nice mix of classic and fun, models wore flap bags in neutral shades of white and black while vibrant, bold hues juxtaposed the more neutral silhouettes. Denim and sequins echo the relaxed glamour that is present throughout the collection as a whole. Silhouettes overall are a mix of new and old. New (and notable) mentions include a camera bag that is literally in the shape of a camera and a sleek, sequined tote that has a slimmer profile than the 22 bag.

You too could be a bit more insightful. Maybe consider the unnecessary rude tone of the comments you deliver?
The camera bags and flip flops will be the breakout, and sold out, stars of this collection. Can imagine USD$900-1400 just for the flip flops.
Absolutely love the camera bags, huge fan. The peachy colour CF is nice too.
When are these bags available? Any chance a non-celebrity can snag one?
