In case you missed it, the main event in fashion, The 2023 Met Gala, went down on Monday, and with it came an influx of celebs to NYC. While in the days (and the day of) leading up to the event, uptown is abuzz with celebs coming and going, when the Gala comes to a close, downtown too is the place to be for post-gala partying. This year, there were well over a handful of after-parties to attend, from one hosted by Dua Lipa to another put on by Emily Ratajkowski, plus big soirees held by brands like Chanel and Cartier.
As to be expected, as celebs attended fittings, the main event, and partied until the sun came up, they did so with their favorite designer bags in tow. Take a look below!

Chloe Fineman attended the 2023 Met Gala wearing a custom gown by Wiederhoeft with a Judith Leiber crystal cat bag, an ode to Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved pet cat Choupette.
Ice Spice also carried a crystal clutch by Judith Leiber to the Met Gala, which she used as a prop walking the carpet. She wore a custom-made Balmain gown.
The Clermont Twins were seen in matching outfits outside of Emily Ratajkowski’s Met Gala After Party. They both carried Dior Lady Bags.
Emily Ratajkowski stopped to pose for the many shutterbugs posted up outside her Met Gala after-party. She wore a lingerie-inspired look and carried a crystalized satin bag by New York-based brand Emm Kuo.
Emma Chamberlin, who wore custom Miu Miu to the main event, attended Dua Lipa’s Met Gala After Party at Virgo on the Lower East Side. She wore a similar Miu Miu look to the party and carried a Miu Miu Top Handle Mini Bag.
A ten-minute car ride away from Dua Lipa’s big bash, Stella McCartney and Baz Luhrmann held a disco-themed party at NoHo’s exclusive member’s only club Zero Bond. Gisele Bundchen attended in a stunning Chanel Little Black Dress and a Chanel Camellia Flower Bag.

Wednesday, uhh, I mean Jenna Ortega, also attended The Standard Hotel’s Met Gala after-party. She toted a top-handle carry from Thom Browne with her.
If you’re looking to spot a celeb during Met Gala week, the place to be is the Upper East Side, specifically The Mark Hotel, where many of the Gala’s attendees will stay. After the big event was over, Met Gala co-chair Dua Lipa was spotted leaving the Mark Hotel with the latest from Bottega Veneta.
Lizzo, who performed at the 2023 Met Gala, was seen checking out of the Mark Hotel following the big night out. She hid under a sweatshirt and carried a Louis Vuitton XS Keepall.
