Perhaps no holiday affords us better handbag watching than Halloween. Every year, for the entirety of October, celebrities descend on the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Los Angeles to partake in the fall festivities and pick up some decorations for their homes. Many even come without kids–it’s become an excellent place to see and be seen, and there are plenty of paparazzi outside. As an Australian, I don’t really get Halloween. What is this place, somewhere for celebs to hang out and get pumpkins? Why does everyone go there? Do regular people go as well?
I live in the USA, but not in LA. So I’d also like to know what is so special about this particular pumpkin patch that makes it so popular? Does this pumpkin have the best pumpkins in LA or something?
There’s a great article on the Grazie Daily UK site on the Bones pumpkin patch. I didn’t understand the deal with it either, but they go through the history of it and everything. It is actually remarkable. They have a paparazzi pen and the celebs call ahead!
I’ve never been, but I would guess they have great Halloween/Fall activities – hay rides, food, etc. Plus it’s a great place for celebs to be seen and photographed, so I’m sure they love that aspect.
I think that Jessica Alba’s tote bag is a Mulberry. The symbol kinda resembles the Mulberry tree and it does look like something that could come from the brand.
Question – Can anybody go to Mr.bones?
