Few style icons remain as relevant today as they were in the ’90s or 2000s, but Kate Moss’s style never loses its luster. With just one wear, Moss can cement a bag’s icon status, and her latest outing has the power to do just that.
Moss, forever a fan of relaxed model-off-duty style, stepped out in London over the weekend carrying the latest from Loewe, but if you looked quickly, you could easily mistake this for a photo from the 2010s.
Moss paired her signature skinny jeans with chunky leather boots, an olive green utility jacket, and a striped scarf. The 2010s, it seems, are so back, but with a slight update—Moss has upgraded her bag game to include the new Loewe Amazona 180.
The Loewe Amazona—Everlasting Icon
If this look has you feeling nostalgic for a bygone era, you’re not alone. We saw this snap of Moss traipsing through Marylebone and were immediately transported back to early 2010s Kate Moss street style, with the Loewe Amazona a natural fit, as we often featured Moss with the Amazona in the early 2010s.
Ultimately, it’s this effortless consistency that keeps Kate Moss at the forefront of our collective handbag-obsessed minds. By revisiting her signature looks while subtly evolving them, she proves that true personal style isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about refining what already works.
And if history is any indication, her latest outing with the Loewe Amazona 180 may just be the beginning of another iconic fashion moment.

I do not get the hanging open” handbag thing. There, I said it. And Moss looks fantastic as usual.
My friends and I often joke that the Amazona 180 is paying more… for half a handle.
It may be quite safe where I live, though I still wouldn’t carry it open. And of course, it looks wonderful on Kate Moss.
If the purse is actually hanging open, that is a non starter for me. I am not sure where you live that that is a good idea. Apart from your things spilling out, it is not safe. It is not particularly attractive either. Sure, it is new and different but it screams silly in my opinion.
I recommend to those who criticise that it is open that they see it and touch it. The opening is merely aesthetic since it has a closure system inside that leaves your belongings safe. But before criticising, take a look, please.
It still looks idiotic.
as someone who DOES leave their bag open all the time (it’s a personality type, sorry not sorry) I still don’t find this bag appealing. I love the classic Amazona!
