The Loewe Amazona 180 Dominated the Street Style Scene At Its Fall 2026 Show

And old favorites alike continue to delight!

Loewe Amazona 180 Mini

Loewe remains one of the most anticipated shows of the season, drawing an uber-stylish crowd that includes editors, influential fashion figures, celebrities, and friends of the House.

While Loewe’s show brings one of the best crowds of the week, it also brings some of the best bags—Loewe fans are loyal and, like us, diehard for the brand’s bags!

This season was an exciting one outside the show, with Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s sophomore showing, because Loewe fans showed up and showed out with many new bags (and more) from the duo’s Spring collection, which is just launching in stores.

Amazona 180: From Runway to Street Style

The universal favorite? Loewe’s newly reimagined Amazona bag, the Amazona 180, which celebrates 180 years of storied Loewe craft. One of the most-wanted bags from the Spring 2026 season, we spotted the Amazona 180 in a myriad of variations.

From a mini bright sunny yellow to rich chocolate brown and bold blue, if you were looking for an answer to the question, “Do I need this!?” you’ll find it below…

Still, we saw a variety of other great bags, from new iterations of the Flamenco and the Puzzle to old classics like the Loewe Puzzle Hobo (hi!) along with limited-edition capsule pieces that some of us are still trying to find on resale. The street style truly did not disappoint. More below!

I hate the 180.

I like the Puzzle bag a lot. I just do not get the 1 strap open bag look.

I agree. I have a puzzle bag myself and it’s very versatile and I love it, but everyone is loving this strange unfinished one strap look and for me it throws me off. Like the Dior one as well. It reminds me of a Peakaboo with how you reveal the logo. I’m more into what’s practical because I’m going to use it lol

I guess they were gifted the 180 to use it at the show?

The 180 bag is stupid.

I am obsessed with the 180!!! Can’t wait to get one myself!

The Amazona was just perfect as Dario Rossi designed for the release in 1975. Many artistic directors of the brand along decades has made small modifications in size, combination of colours and texture with different leathers. Most of them got interests and probable responded to the general trends in handbag architecture. All different, all acceptable maintaining the equilibrium of the Dario Rossi model. However, this one with one handle is not any longer an acceptable variations under my point of view. The perfection and harmony is over without the twin handle. It looks that it is not confortable and moreover, resambles a bit a peekaboo, Fendi. Not for Amazona lovers, I think.

I believe that this Amazon will be the one that triumphs after the JWA era. The Amazona is a bag with very clean lines, versatile and beautiful but since Jonathan arrived it has not managed to be a best seller, on the other hand the Miu Miu model with very similar shapes, yes. The original Amazon for me had a problem, those with very thin skin, when I took it by the two handles it was crushed and lost its shape and volume. On the other hand, this model does not crush and maintains the vertical structure. I think he’s going to give the success to the model that Puzzle took away from him.

I see that we shared interested for Loewe model. I read your comment with attention and I am open to see what users opinions tell us in months or years about this variation from the Amazona. If people were considered the flexibility, and movement as you walked, from this 2-handled design in combination with the original soft and light leather was any disadvantage, there is nothing to argue. It was designed for the purpuse. I personally think is the uniqueness of the model, it is moving with you. I would like to see if the evolving shape would respond to users expectations.
