International Film Premieres Bring us Lots of Shoes from Louboutin, Aquazzura & Dior

This post is almost a continuous stream of red carpet photos, with exactly two interruptions. (Some celebs didn’t attend film premieres this week, or maybe they were still wearing great shoes while doing other stuff, but that’s allowed.) In quasi-related news, it has recently dawned on me that Lily James and Lily Collins are two different people, and the former is dating one of my celebrity boyfriends, which instantly makes her my celebrity nemesis. Even so, her shoe game is incredibly solid. I cannot fault her for that.

We’ll start off with Alessandra Ambrosio, seen here wearing a pair of soft leather Isabel Marant Etoile Cluster Booties while out to lunch in LA. These short boots are very different from the Louboutin Country Croche Boots we saw her wearing a couple weeks ago, but they seem much more functional.

Amal Clooney
Christian Dior Mid Heel Pumps

The world’s most glamorous (and highly successful) lawyer, Amal Clooney, chose to pair silver and black ombre Dior heels with her white and red floral Giambattista Valli dress at the Hollywood premiere of George’s new film, Hail, Caesar!.

Dita Von Teese opted for simple lace Louboutins at the 2016 Femmy Awards, which are basically the Emmys for “intimate apparel” or lingerie. Dita hosted the event, and she wore a dress that was fashioned around her own Dita Von Teese Glorified Girl bustier, naturally.

And now for something completely different…actress Holliday Grainger recently walked the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of the true-life action thriller The Finest Hours wearing a curvaceous pair of Charlotte Olympia Vreeland Platform Sandals paired with a plunging v-neck Elie Saab gown.

We can all appreciate the fashion pageantry that comes along with the much anticipated Zoolander sequel. Here are the female stars of Zoolander 2, pal-ing around at the film’s Berlin premiere. Kristen is wearing a sparkly pair of multicolored Christian Louboutin Rivierina Strass Pumps and a rainbow-sequined dress from designer Rosie Assoulin.

Meanwhile, at the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies premiere in London, Lily James knows that her Aquazzura pumps are amazing, and she’s not afraid to show them off. They look perfectly on-point with her stunning striped Erdem ensemble.

And here’s Lily again, heading to BBC 1 Radio in London to do a little more promotion for PP&Z. This time she’s wearing a low-key pair of embroidered velvet Louboutin flats. (Were you even aware that Louboutin makes flats?)

Finally, here’s Penelepe Cruz, still hanging out at the Zoolander 2 Berlin premiere, just waiting for us to tell you who makes her metallic sandals. (It’s Roger Vivier.) Now, can we discuss why Berliners get to see Zoolander 2 before we do?
