Do you have enough croc bags and leather overalls in your fashion arsenal? Well, it might be time to rethink your game. (Or, alternatively, withdraw from the game, depending on how alluring you find either.) Celebs did not slouch on the handbag front this week, and they got surprisingly dressed up for the airport, the museum, the farmer's market, etc. It's almost as if they've conceded to the fact that paps are everywhere, and they can't be caught in a velour tracksuit in 2017. (Except for Rihanna. She is never giving up her tracksuits. Middle fingers up.)
Ashley Graham was spotted looking extra luxe at LAX with her black Chanel Flap Bag. As we've previously discussed, Chanel bags and neutrals are basically her jam. Shop Chanel Bags via Vestiaire Collective
I am starting to suspect Ms. Dion just lives at the Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris. She has been embedded there for weeks. Here she is leaving her favorite Parisian hotel with one of the most rare and expensive Hermès bags ever made, the Hermès Himalayan Crocodile Kelly Bag. She's wearing leather overalls, to boot.
Here's one of our favorite bag lovers, Hilary Duff, leaving Eggshop in Noho with a neutral leather Proenza Schouler Bucket Bag. The Bucket Bag is dead. Long live the Bucket Bag. Shop Proenza Schouler via Net-a-Porter
Jada Pinkett Smith
This is quite a week for exotic croc Hermès bags. Jada Pinkett Smith carried this sumptuous Hermès Haut a Courroies Crocodile Bag. I don't know why we don't see more of these—how can celebs resist so much bag real estate?
Jenna Dewan Tatum
Here's Jenna Dewan Tatum carrying a little red Chloé Drew that she's been favoring lately as she visits the farmer's market in LA with her daughter. Her sole purchase thus far: carrots. Shop the Chloé Drew Bag via Nordstrom ($1,650)
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez recently paid a visit to the Louvre together just to take in the art. Just a normal couple doing normal couple things in Paris, nothing to see here! Except her white Valentino My Rockstud Bag and amazing Gucci dress. Shop the Valentino My Rockstud Bag via Net-a-Porter ($2,895)
Lottie Moss, like so many celebs, chose to shield herself with Saint Laurent while coming out of Mahiki in London. I respect her need for privacy, but also, I can't remember what her face looks like, so there's that.
