Celebrities Are Hot on the Promotional Trail & No Good Bags Will Be Left Behind

Celebs always bust out the great bags for press events and TV appearances, even though handbags unfortunately receive no screen time during interviews (a tragic injustice which must be rectified). This week, stars like Salma Hayek, Bella Thorne and Taraji P. Henson put their best bags forward for big events, while other celebs like Elsa Hosk and Emma Bunton carried nice bags just because. On a related note: Stop toying with me, Spice Girls! My millennial heart can only survive so many reunion tour rumors.

Chanel Classic Flap Bag

Here’s Bella Thorne, arriving at the Wildfox fragrance launch in LA with yet another Chanel Flap Bag. As you might suspect, there’s a fair amount of Chanel in our The Many Bags of Bella Thorne.

Elsa Hosk
Chloé Drew Bag
$1,850 via Net-a-Porter

Elsa Hosk was recently spotted leaving a photo shoot at a hotel in NYC, carrying a cute Chloé Drew Bag and wearing an ensemble that is almost an exact replica of something your aunt once wore to Disney World circa 1992.

Emma Bunton
Prada Double Bag
$2,910 via Bergdorf Goodman

I have beef with Baby Spice this week, because the Spice Girls are all being pretty coy about another possible Spice Girls reunion. Here’s Baby in London, carrying a Prada tote and wearing a shawl and pretending like nothing is happening in the Spice-iverse.

Kate Walsh
Céline Phantom Cabas Tote
Louis Vuitton Keepall Bag
$1,390 via Louis Vuitton

Kate Walsh always looks like she never expects to see the paparazzi, even though she is a big-time TV actress and they all know where she lives and shops. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate not being famous and confronted by cameras while lugging three bags.

Sally Field
Marc by Marc Jacobs Sally Crossbody Bag
$198 via Bloomingdale’s

Here’s screen legend Sally Field at the opening night of “Hamilton” on Broadway, carrying a Marc by Marc Jacobs crossbody. We can’t confirm that this bag was named after Sally Field, but we can’t confirm it wasn’t, either.

Salma Hayek
Gucci Dionysus Clutch
Shop via Gucci

Salma Hayek has been making the press rounds to promote her new animated (and self-produced) feature film The Prophet, and she’s outfitted herself with a little Gucci for every interview and photo opp. Here she is arriving at a screening of The Prophet in Manhattan with a Gucci Dionysus Clutch. (She’s also been especially partial to Gucci sandals as of late.)

Salma Hayek
Saint Laurent High School Bag
$2,350 via Barneys

Here’s Salma once again, heading into the Good Morning America studios with an inconspicuous little bag that just happens to be from Saint Laurent. As you’ll notice, it’s totally free from prominent logos. The chain strap in particular is kind of a red herring.

Taraji P. Henson
Edie Parker Jean Clutch
$1,195 via Neiman Marcus

We’ll round out the week with Taraji P. Henson, hitting the event carpet for the FOX All-Star Party in West Hollywood with a super chic little striped Edie Parker clutch. Her extra-revealing LBD is made by a Cushnie et Ochs, and you can find similar styles from the brand at FWRD.
