April has arrived, and stars are here for it! Whether working, playing, or both, with temperatures finally starting to creep into spring territory, we’re excited to see stars embrace the new season—and this is just a precursor to what’s to come. Hint: some very, very good bags!
In true early spring fashion, the first days of April brought sunshine and warm weather, mixed with some humbling cold winds to remind us that Mother Nature will always bring us back to reality. As for the bags, they too offered us a little bit of everything, from new Louis Vuitton and Chanel to classic Bottega and more.
A theme throughout? Pops of burgundy! Seen on bags, ready-to-wear, and accessories alike, it proves that one of the most popular hues of the last few seasons is here to stay. Let’s take a look!
Elle Fanning
Elle Fanning arrived at the New York premiere of Margo’s Got Money Troubles radiating effortless charm. The 28-year-old leaned into textural contrast, pairing delicate lace and fluid silk with a shimmering sequined top, all punctuated by the ultra-chic Bottega Veneta Lauren clutch.
Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey is the #ChloéGirl we didn’t know we needed! The mogul put a Chloé spin on the classic Canadian tuxedo for a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, effortlessly blending laid-back denim with elevated polish. The finishing touch? The iconic Chloé Paddington bag, of course.
Rihanna
Rihanna jetted across the pond for a week of shopping and R&R with her family—and, as expected, she brought the bag heat. The beauty mogul stepped out carrying a Jonathan Anderson Dior Saddle Bag, letting its bold pop of color take center stage. She paired the statement piece with a sleek monochrome look, featuring Alaïa cargo pants and a vintage Maison Margiela tunic.
Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner kept things effortlessly classic for a coffee run in LA, pairing a rich burgundy Chanel Maxi Flap with The Row’s Tanera jacket, straight-leg jeans, and ballet flats. Casual, but oh-so chic.
Alana Haim
Alana Haim, who stars alongside Zendaya in the newly-released film The Drama made the press rounds in a drapey chartreuse-colored Versace dress with an unexpected bag on her arm—the new Louis Vuitton Squire East West.

Haha, I completely missed the blurb about Chanel for Kendall Jenner and thought the coffee holder was her actual bag…and now I’m interested in a drink caddy handbag!
The drink holder was the first thing I looked at also
I wanted that Chanel XXL so badly. Unfortunately I could not get my hands on it.
Hopefully the next season I’ll have better luck. Until then it lives in my dreams.
