Before summer officially winds down and the temps begin to dip, we decided to take another spin through street-style battleground SoHo. Back in July, we spent a hot summer day trolling the streets, which were filled with a mix of tourists, transplants, and true New Yorkers. Regardless of how they got there, they were there, and they brought their best bags out to play. August was no different and found well over a dozen seriously stunning bags. From the outskirts of SoHo on NoLita’s streets to West Broadway and beyond, take a look at the bags we found on everyday SoHo goers.

Louis Vuitton Love

Unsurprisingly, Louis Vuitton’s canvas bags were a hit amongst the street-style crowd. Coated canvas makes for a great grab-and-go bag on a hot summer day. Of course, the cult-favorite Multi Pochette Accessoires made a cheeky appearance outside of NoLita hotpot Aimé Leon Dore.

B & B – Balenciaga and Bottega

Next up, we’ve got a little B & B for you, and no, we’re not taking you on an overnight road trip. We’re talking about Balenciaga and Bottega. Another sighting that didn’t come as a shock to us was a passerby who opted for Daniel Lee’s Padded Cassette.

Pretty Little Pradas

Prada was a popular choice among handbag lovers last month, and we spotted a slew of nice little nylon bags. One New Yorker added a pop of pink to her Prada Wallet on Chain, allowing its chain strap to hang free for an effortless, no-fuss look.

Fendi and More Finds

We weren’t shocked at the appearance of some of our other favorite luxury brands like Chanel, Fendi, and Gucci. Loewe’s now-classic Puzzle bag also made an appearance toted by a stylish tattooed bag lover. We spotted it in the most stunning shade of what we’d like to call Matcha green.

Is that a Valentino on the lady beside the woman carrying the Chanel 19? I can’t quite ID the bag but it looks really fun.

Looks like a Valentino Rockstud to me. Not in a colour way i’ve ever seen before though. Both bags in the shot are beautiful.

And infinitely more interesting that the Chanel next to it. Why only show the the same branded bags? People carry all sorts of bags in NY. I see lots fun bags including unbranded bags probably picked up on vacation. If this post is truly about interesting bags it wouldn’t only feature the same old big brands. Advertising over content!

More interesting maybe but not close to as lovely, IMO.

Each day our photog goes out to capture street style, we see what they see. That’s why we are going to have people go to different areas for different bags and styles!

Just brought home a puzzle bag from recent NYC trip. Husband said it looked like it was from Target. ☹️ Regardless, I love it and thinking of getting the larger size, too.

The problem with marketing is that a real luxury brand from 1846, with much higher quality than other luxury brands. For not being commercialised in the USA, he is treated so extremely badly. I hope that JW Anderson’s work positions this great brand where it deserves. Stuart Vevers (now in Coach) tried it and he couldn’t.

LOL! That would be some high-end Target! Maison Target!
But yeah, not everyone understands the aesthetics of Loewe.
