New York style is unrivaled in its own unique way, and depending on the neighborhood you’re in, it’s possible to spot a plethora of different looks and styles if you spend a couple of hours walking around. From the Lower East Side to the Upper East Side and across the park to the Upper West Side and back down to the West Village, New York’s neighborhoods are unmatched when it comes to street style. And as bag lovers, there is really nothing more exciting than spotting that rare vintage bag, or the latest trendy piece from Bottega Veneta out in the wild. It’s those moments that fill us with creativity, providing endless inspiration and sometimes reminding us why we love bags in the first place.
That butterflies in your belly feeling is what inspired us to head out on the town in NYC to see what bags we could find to share with you. Known for its shopping, tourist-filled streets and trendy eateries, the area of SoHo (South of Houston Street) was the perfect place to start looking for bags in the wild and the bags we found are just as hot as the streets of the concrete jungle. Check them out below and stay tuned to see where we head to next!
Why am I loving that LV Randonnee so much?
I believe the Hermès Evelyne takes an “e” at the end.
Love seeing bags in the wild. But with so many dupes, sometimes you get excited from afar and as the bag gets closer… you realize it’s not a Birkin… it’s just a Badkin.
I love that “Badkin” description.
Yes, thank you! That was dear old auto correct 🙂
Oh such a great post idea, love seeing bags “out in the wild” 🙂

More coming!
Yaaass!
I will never forget the day I may or may not have semi-stalked a woman on Madison ave that I saw wearing the full-sized Chanel hula hoop flap bag, that was like 6 or 7 years ago and I felt fabulous just living in a place where things like this were walking around near me.
Ok seeing one in the wild must have been wild!
I like seeing that these bags show signs of wear–they’ve been used and loved.
I love this post, more street style please! one request: that there are more zoomed out pics so we can see how people have styled their bags with their outfits!
Yes, for sure!
