After we posted about the BV Croc Fume bags, the comment flood gates exploded. We truly enjoyed reading every comment. The photos and post got all of you thinking and sharing which means the photo did invoke an emotional response, meaning the photos got their job done. With that in mind, today there will be a post by both Amanda and I with your comments in mind.
I am going to delve into a category that we rarely cover on PurseBlog but will try to cover more, eco-friendly handbags. One of the most well-know eco friendly designers has a famous last name and a line of clothing and handbags that grace red carpets, catwalks, and celebs.
I feel like I’m constantly ragging on the Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent bag line, and I really don’t mean to be. I have nothing in particular against the line and I actually quite like the designer’s clothes, but the bags are, over and over again, simply not attractive to me. It’s the brand’s first foray into handbags, so I can only hope that their efforts will improve. When they do, I will be more than happy to write nice things about them. 
I’ve been spending quite a bit of time trying to figure out if I like this bag or not, and frankly, I still have no idea. I simply cannot make up my mind. While I do like the color and unique design of the bag, I still think that it is a bit too much. Perhaps I can’t get over the fact that the bag looks a bit like marshmallows. Do you see it?

Once again, Lockheart comes out with a handbag that is full of amazing detail work. I actually had a chance to see the Lockheart design team in action a few weeks back and I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the leathers, the conversations and the absolute love for handbags this team has. It is clear that hours of time and thought go into each bag. So, coming across the Lockheart Victoria Jeweled Leather Hobo reminded me of all the detail that can easily be overlooked but shouldn’t be. 
If you are in search of a unique evening bag for your holiday and New Years celebrations consider the Lanvin Aumoniere satin pochette ($750 at Net-a-Porter). This adorable petite bag has a very vintage inspired look to it. This bag could have been your grandmother’s and looks just as modern today as it might have fifty years ago. Translated as “little pocket” the Lanvin Aumoniere is made of classic black satin and features satin drawstring handles which gather up to close the bag. There is also an optional gold-tone metal chain strap which I think detracts from the elegant simplicity for of the
