Ut-oh. I absolutely positively love this clutch. And when you look at it, it is nothing out of the ordinary. Simple shape and simple design. So simple yet so lovely. The exotic eel skin stands out beautifully in bright fuchsia. I want it. Sometimes what we love and desire does not make sense, even to us, and that is precisely how I feel about the Givenchy Elene Eel Clutch.

Texture is always key for fall. Chunky knits, silk dresses, wool jackets, soft cashmere. And this year, we have the added visual interest of tough studs and black leather being popular for fall. Why can’t the weather be cool and crisp year-round? The clothes are so much more interesting – for example, the combination of velvet and patent leather that makes up the Marc by Marc Jacobs Stamped Velvet Magazine Clutch has more depth and style than anything I’ve worn in months.
I’ve been toting a Kooba bag lately and I’m loving it. The bag makes me happy for so many reason, but one of the reasons is definitely the color, it is this dark rich purple that is absolutely to die for. The lovely color reminded me how much I appreciate dark rich colors that are luckily everywhere you look during the fall. This all being the case, you can see why the color of the MICHAEL Michael Kors Morgen Hobo lured me in.
Everyone at Luna Boston loves a good party, and a couple weeks ago was no exception. The Diane von Furstenberg event was one of the biggest we’ve ever had – there was a line around the block to get in before the doors even opened! Amanda and Jennifer started setting up for the event at 9am and didn’t stop until 10 minutes before the event started, when they finally had time to get ready!
For those of you that weren’t able to attend, we held the event in a penthouse suite at the FP3 condominiums in the Fort Point section of Boston. I felt like a rockstar at this place – it has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a terrace, and a roof deck! (And it’s on the market for a cool $2.5 mil if you’re interested!) Hillary France, our representative from the Diane von Furstenberg showroom, was there to help us show the Fall collection to attendees. (Did we mention that Hillary looks like a goddess? Tall with long, bright red hair, looks awesome in everything she wears; Basically, she’s perfect. We’re jealous. But I digress.)
When it comes to dressing for a fall night out, there’s nothing that I love more than a beautiful berry-colored clutch. It just so happens that the Rafe New York Erin Flap Clutch fits that description exactly.
Christian Louboutin continues to make a name for himself in the handbag world. The Christian Louboutin Loubistuds Clutch wowed us when we first viewed it. The perfect edginess was added to make that clutch a contender and a clutch that truly would amp up your night time outfits. The problem with that clutch was the price. Just over $1500, that is one pricey clutch.

I’m not sure where the folks at Gryson manage to find such beautifully textured, interesting leather, but they really should share their resources with others.
I know, I know. That’s a lot to ask of a brand when they’ve got so many other folks against which to compete. But really, leather as show-stopping and finely tanned as that on the Gryson Ariel Satchel is something more people should be using. It’d be unfair for them to keep it to themselves.

Yeah, I kind of feel like that about the Marc Jacobs Frame Wallet Sequined Purse.
