Chloe Saskia Patchwork Pouchette

Chloe Saskia Patchwork Pouchette

Chloe Saskia Patchwork Pouchette
Chloe Saskia Patchwork Pouchette

The Chloe Saskia bags were released in February and were supposed to be a huge hit for Chloe. But these bags have mixed reviews, and the feelings are extreme either way. Most either absolutely love it or absolutely hate it. I see the response being the same for the smaller version of this handbag, the Chloe Saskia Patchwork Pouchette. This pouchette is straight off the Chloe runway and features a mix of pastel hues, apricot and pink, with an edgy arrangement. The clever set up features a patchwork style with buckle detailing, a logo plaque, and a large handle to hold. I am ready to hear those that do not like it, but ever since I spotted it on the runway I have loved it! I am a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl, that believes in my accessories dressing up my outfits. There is nothing better than wearing a simple outfit and taking your look to a whole new level with accessories. For me, this is a stunning piece that is outside of the box but a great compilation. $1,560 through Net A Porter.

Kate Bosworth is not only a fan of the Chloe Saskia Patchwork Bag but also a fan of the funky Chloe Strappy Shoe Boots ($745 via Net A Porter). Kate sported her Chloe accessories when she arrived at Los Angeles airport on Monday. Her bag is not the pouchette version, but the shoulder bag in gray in green. I love her look; she is radiating and her casual chic outfit is beautiful.

not a fan at all.
my ocd is going rather insane that the buckles are all different colors and not aligned properly, which of course is the point.

I will stick to my classical looking RMs.
now if only I could get my hands on a wine matinee and nikki

It’s a little off. I haven’t been keen on Chloe since Phoebe left, but I appreciate the art of this one. It looks like a bunch of tongues. That said, it’s strange enough to be interesting and I’m surprised it’s not more of a hit. Although, it doesn’t look like you can carry a lot in it. And I think we’re in a big bag phase right now, look at some of those Fendi clutches!

Not a fan of Chloe´s, this is one of their worst one´s.

It doesn’t work for me, but I’m really not into such concept bags anyway. Seems like a misfire, regardless.

As for Kate, those shoes look like just the thing for when you’re a replicant on the run from Blade Runner in the acid rain-soaked streets of Los Angeles…

I’m a jeans and t-shirt girl, too, and I totally agree about using accessories to give your look a funky or dressed-up vibe. I didn’t think I’d like this, but paired with a simple outfit it has a fun, edgy appeal. I’d wear it.

Chloe over did on the design process. It just look over done and too complicated.

I like her Chloe bag AND her Chloe shoes.. but the rest is a little sloppy.

chloe or no chloe the shoes are hideous!!

I love the shape of the shoes and think they would look great in a soft suede (to contrast with the hard shape and add comfort); but in grey patent? Um, no thanks.

As for the bag, I really like the overall shape and the long strap but, although I am a big fan of characterful bags, the multiple, multi-sized and coloured tongues are just a little too Marni and busy-looking, for me…
