I grew up in the Deep South, in a deeply southern family, so there were a few rules for dressing that were always clear. Among the strictest of standards was the idea that you don’t wear white before Easter, and although that rule (along with its post-Labor Day twin) have long been scuttled, it’s still a strong association in my mind. With Easter on the horizon, we chose this Want It Wednesday to feature our favorite white (or mostly white, or almost white) pieces of the season.

That cream Shannon bag is a stunner! Fabulous lines, proportion, and hardware. (BTW, even in New York City, at least in the 1950s & 1960s, white before Easter & after Labor Day was verboten.)

I like that the PVC panels on the Loubs appear invisible. It does not look cheap at all.. Well come to think of it, it shouldn’t look cheap considering the price.
