Valentino, under Alessandro Michele, continues to delight. While the new Valentino is vastly different, Michele continues to explore the brand’s heritage, but through a new lens. The designer’s eclectic vision and undeniably distinct aesthetic have been a welcome change in the quiet luxury era.
While we saw a variety of new bags on the Fall 2025 runway, which was one of the most talked-about shows of PFW, what continues to delight us are the bags seen outside of the show.
Michele has already developed his own signatures, fusing them with Valentino’s existing Hosue codes. While this extends to the ready-to-wear, the bags are what we are most excited by. From newbies like the Viva Superstar and Vain bag to fan favorites like the Vsling and Michele-ified versions of the Locò bag, this batch of bags delights!

That “V” logo is so tacky.
I agree it stops me from buying anything from the new collection. Ive always been a fan of the rockstud love those have 2 bags im not letting go of.
I really like the Vain bags … except for that garish logo! For a dressier bag in that style, the Bulgari Serpenti line has much better options.
I much prefer the “V” logo to the rockstud, which was too edgy/biker for me. For me, this new design makes me more interested in Valentino.
The V logo or the V sling are not new, but pulled from Valentino Garavanis old archives.
The patterns and colorways are new and I like them. As for rhe silhouettes, the article said, it’s a mix of new designs and “fan favorites.” The logo — meh. I do still like rockstud.
I’m just never drawn to Valentino, I would rather invest in other brands. I think it’s because I dislike the logo and that they have a much cheaper line with similar styles, logo so it just puts me off investing.
What’s the much cheaper line? asking for a friend 👀
It’s ‘Valentino Garavani’ and found in Flannels UK 🙂 slightly different style.

i had similar to this and this was innocuous but the new bags are hideous and the V logo is cheap/tacky
Valentino was never the same after the man himself bowed out. Pierpaolo had a great eye for esthetics, but I have no hope for their new designer. The elegance is gone.
