Tory Burch has always been one of my favorite brands. Since its inception in 2004, the Tory Burch brand has mastered every facet of the fashion market. Tory Burch specializes in shoes, handbags, accessories, watches, ready-to-wear, home decor, fragrance and beauty, offering beautiful collections in every category. Tory Burch launched her brand and built an empire from the ground up, and she’s been an advocate for the entrepreneurial mindset, which I’ve found so inspiring. Tory Burch offers luxury items at a more budget friendly price point, and many of my Tory Burch items feel like premier brand quality and design but for a fraction of the cost, which is always a big pro in my budget conscious life.
With hundreds of boutiques worldwide, Tory Burch’s customer service is second to none. I’ve been served champagne while purchasing a $200 tote bag at a Tory Burch boutique, making it my most luxurious purchase to date. I’ve never been offered champagne at any other boutique, even when spending 10x what I have spent at Tory Burch. For that reason alone, I will always deem their customer service as exceptional and top of the line. If you have ever stepped inside of a Tory Burch boutique, you know how luxurious they are. I’ve been able to visit multiple locations, and while each one is unique, they are all similar in that they’re decorated with rich colors, beautiful furniture, and eclectic patterns and fabrics, marrying them to the Tory Burch brand. I’ve loved the interior design and décor of every single boutique I’ve ventured into, including the outlet locations. I’m ready to move into one, each location feeling like a room out of my dream home.
I still remember the thrill of purchasing my first pair of Reva flats, one of my first big purchases after college when I got my first job in the real world. I’ve shopped the Tory Burch brand on and off for years, and even if I stray away, I always come back to its classic styles. When my best friend from Ireland came to visit me in the states, she asked me for an American brand recommendation, as she wanted to buy a special handbag to commemorate her trip. Tory Burch was the first brand that came to mind, as I deem it quintessential American classic style. I love that so many of the styles offered are subtle and sophisticated, yet have just enough of the Tory Burch stamp to make the distinction that the bag is special. It’s tough to brand a bag without stamping logos all over it, but Tory Burch manages to do it. I’m not complaining when she does decide to put her logo on her items, as I think it’s beautiful. The Tory Burch logo is my favorite in the fashion world, it’s so pretty and iconic. I went onto the Tory Burch website this week and was struck by how good all of it is. I am loving everything on her site right now, which is not an easy feat. I can be somewhat picky, especially with bags, so the fact that I love it all is an occasion that can’t go unnoticed.
I’m rounding up my favorite items on the Tory Burch site. What’s your favorite Tory Burch piece?
Loving TB for fall/winter 2019. I carry my bags to enjoy them, I could give less than a damn about reselling them later. Handbags are no great investment in the first place…
I like the booties! Nothing else. 🙂
I have not experienced the same customer service written in this article. I actually have been in the store and had no one say anything to me. Burberry served my 9 year old son hot chocolate and provided me with champagne while shopping. But the bags are not calling me especially with the giant Tory Burch emblem. They look like they will not hold their value.
Same here. Experience varies a lot if you carry a LV bag into the store or a Coach bag ( which was actually more expensive than TB) 😛 . But great pieces, I just buy online.
I had the exact same experience when I walked in to my local Tory Burch store about 5yrs ago (thankfully another store took its place) to purchase a pair of boots. They looked at me like I had 3 heads, no one approached me to help, and they stayed on their ipads like I wasn’t even there. Yeah, I never stepped foot in that store again and i’m still not sure if T.Burch is worth my money?
I’m just not a fan of that logo. I could be wrong but when I think of Tory Burch I put that brand in the same ‘mid-tier’ luxe brand like Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors. TB doesn’t really do it for me unfortunately (well fortunately for my wallet I suppose!)
Yeah this is in the same tier as like Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff, Coach, etc. although I will say that the designs of the bags you posted are really nice and don’t strike me as Tory Burch at all (which is a good thing). I think the logo is ugly and that’s why I hate Burberry now, their new logo looks like this and it’s hideous. As far as resale value, absolutely not. You will not get 1/5th of what you paid with these bags. To each their own.
i thought the same thing – Tory Burch has copied many brands here – hermes, celine chanel and created decent bags at a low end price point – i don’t get the whole urban vibe barf-berry is going for
Interesting but I’ve never used the words “luxurious” and “Tory Burch” in the same sentence. To me Tory Burch says “TJ Maxx”.
Unrelated, the Tory Burch logo has always reminded me of the wild west. It looks like the font that would be used on a saloon sign or something.
Back to topic, though, I have only been in one outlet a couple of times. I was told the current promotion when I entered and then they left me alone because I was just browsing, not planning to buy. Personally I don’t like being greeted when I enter a store (but obviously the employees are told to greet customers, so I don’t get upset or anything), and don’t care at all if I am not greeted. At least, I don’t hold a grudge against the brand if an employee doesn’t greet me. If I need help, I’ll go find somebody and ask. I feel the workers did their job just fine when I was there. As for the merchandise, I’m not really a fan of the Tory Burch aesthetic. Can’t get past the wild west style logo haha.
It’s always reminded me of some religious cross thing! I definitely don’t like it or the bags – like MK and Coach there is often too much going on.
I’ve had a like/hate of TB simply because I think overpriced. I would put it a click above MK and Coach because you can only find it by me in Bloomies, Nordstroms, or Saks (burbs outside nyc). It has preppy cachet. I mean women are forking over 200 for the Miller sandal which is essentially a flip flop. I did walk into a TB store in Naples and they were very nice and welcoming….on same trip absolutely no one acknowledged our existence in the LV store. Sorry LV Naples store you lost our business that day. Back to TB …. I do enjoy TB products and it still catches my eye when I see anyone with it. I’ve never seen TB in TJ Maxx by me lol.
Yeah, this is my experience. I’ve spent a lot of time in the TJ Maxx-level stores; you won’t find TB there. You WILL find MK, Kate Spade, D&B, and even Coach on occasion. TB bags may not hold their resale value like a Chanel, but they pull significantly more than used handbags from any of those brands on the second-hand market. And I see TB stuff literally everywhere I go in my daily suburban existence, up to and including the obscenely overpriced logo flip-flops. 😉
I looovveee tory burch. I have yet to purchase a bag from her yet but I’m a fan of their riding boots.
yikes
