I’ve been feeling a growing excitement towards Tod’s recently and it all started with their Tod’s Tote Bag. The brand is known for their beautiful products, but I felt a bit lackluster about the designs they were putting out – it all seemed too restrained, maybe even too refined. But it looks like Tod’s is finding the happy medium between being a brand that is known for elegance and being a brand that stays on trend.
For Tod’s Spring 2013, my beloved Tote Bag returns in a creamy nude hue and along with it are beautiful python skins in some of the most familiar shapes from the brand. The classic Ballerina shoe is revamped with an overall lift which I adore. There is much of the same, it is just more beautiful than usual, and I would also like to add that I think I should move into their Italian showroom.
I’ve been a big fan of Tod’s for a long time and really love the quality of their bags. I’m glad to see that they are introducing a new / modified shape to their D bags.
Finally you are giving Tods the love they deserve….as i type i am looking at my Tods d-styling and how much joy it has brought me…
I too am a big fan of Tods. I grad them more often than any other because their designs are so functional and easy/pleasant to use.
I am also a big big fan of Tod’s bags and shoes. Love their style and the quality is outstanding!!
not so much the bags but i will be getting the cut out platforms and sandals in the second pic for sure.
