Tod’s is the Latest Brand to Hop On the Micro Bag Trend

If the runways of Fashion Week are any indication, the micro-bag trend shows no signs of slowing down, and while Tod’s isn’t a brand we often cover here on PurseBlog, they’re the latest brand to tap into the micro bag trend. Models on the runway at the latest Tod’s fashion show in Milan late last week both wore the tiny bag trend on body and clutched a multiple bag version of the micro bag trend. For Spring 2020, it seems, Tods is taking a trendier approach to its accessories collection as the brand’s in-house design team tapped into some of the handbag world’s biggest and most talked about trends.

Though Tod’s prides itself on Italian tradition and timeless, clean lines, this collection is arguably one of Tod’s more modern ones, offering a less simplistic approach to some designs. Unsurpisingly, Tod’s is also the latest handbag brand to introduce a new logo hardware. The iconic Tod’s ‘T’ appeared on bags both big and small, and while there were many trendier shapes at play, Tod’s also showcased more classic styles as well. Notable shapes include a lady-like top handle flap bag as well as a saddle bag style cross body, both bearing the bold new ‘T’. View all of the bags below.
