Last fall, we gave you an intimate look at some of the bags from the Tiffany & Co. Fall 2014 collection, and though it still feels and looks like winter outside, I want to brighten your day and your accessories collection with the Tiffany & Co. Spring 2015 handbags. There is so much more to Tiffany & Co. beyond the little blue box, and the leather goods for the brand are simply stunning.
Tiffany & Co. is so synonymous with the city of New York that we decided to take our favorite items from the Tiffany & Co. Spring 2015 collection to some of NYC’s must-visit spots.
Central Park with the Tiffany & Co. Olivia Tote
We started in Central Park, which is by far one of the most iconic New York City destinations for residents and tourists alike. The park houses 843 acres with so many different attractions that you need to give yourself time to wander. One of my favorite things to do is pop into the park, find a quiet bench or gazebo and read.
The Tiffany & Co. Olivia Tote is the ideal companion for daily use; it’s big enough to hold your essentials whether you are traveling or using it for your everyday bag. The straps are long enough that they easily slide over your shoulder, and they’re delicate in appearance while remaining functional. I adore the textured leather, which allows this bag to be wiped down easily as well. Slide your iPad or book in this tote, along with a snack or two, and you have a stunning bag to take to one of the world’s most iconic park.
Admire the NYC Skyline with the Tiffany & Co. Peyton
The NYC skyline differs greatly from every other skyline in the world, and even after living in NYC for four years, I always stop to take in the view. You can go to the top of the Empire State Building, cross a bridge and check out the skyline from Brooklyn or do what I do–see the skyline from just inside of Central Park. When you enter Central Park off 60th Street and 5th Avenue, you don’t need to walk far to get to a bridge that crosses The Pond. Stop at the top of the bridge and take it in; the view is magnificent.
Speaking of magnificent, I fell in love with the Peyton Bag from Tiffany & Co., and it might be my favorite from the Spring 2015 line. The smooth leather is super luxe, and the ice hue adds just a hint of grey. The size of the bag allows for space while remaining compact, and the East/West lines are so flattering when you carry it. For convenience, there is a long shoulder strap that can be removed. This is a bag I can see myself carrying for years on end.
Eat at a NYC Restaurant with the Tiffany & Co. Serena Clutch
There are over 25,000 restaurants in NYC, which can be both overwhelming and magical. I love finding spots that are tucked away and offer delicious cuisine, and when you step back outside, and there are ten more delightful places in a two-block radius. Do a little research or ask a New Yorker, and you will end up in a quaint little place with the most delicious meal.
The Tiffany & Co. Stripe Serena Clutch in Chalk was my perfect breakfast companion, but what’s even more exciting is the size of this clutch allows it to be a great day bag. I added a card case with my credit cards, my phone, lipstick, keys and even my unattractive inhaler, and it all fit inside of this clutch nicely. There are many color options, but the light chalk leather with a striped finish gives added dimensionality to a soft and feminine bag.
Visit Grand Central with the Tiffany & Co. Peyton Satchel in Crocodile
There are countless modes of transportation in NYC, including cabs, bikes, the subway, busses and your own two feet. You can get around in so many ways in NYC, but one of the hidden gems of the city is Grand Central Terminal. Nestled in the heart of Midtown, Grand Central is architecturally beautiful. Stop in for fun (there are tons of stores and restaurants inside), or use it to get in, out and around NYC.
I’m absolutely smitten with the Tiffany & Co. Peyton Satchel in Chalk Crocodile; it’s elevated and elegant in a way that makes me want to dress in beautiful cashmere coats every day. The hue helps the crocodile skin stand out, and the bag is large, so plan to use it. Throw it in the back of your car for a weekend trip, hop on a plane to go to your favorite location or just carry it every day–that is how much you’ll want to carry this bag.
Shop at the Iconic Tiffany & Co. Store on 5th Avenue with the Tiffany & Co. Sutton Clutch
Have you ever seen the movie Sweet Home Alabama, where Patrick Dempsey’s character surprises Reese Witherspoon’s character by taking her to the Tiffany & Co. store to pick any ring she wants? Or do you know the legendary shot of Audrey Hepburn outside of the store from Breakfast at Tiffany’s? The 5th Avenue flagship is timeless and a must-visit on my NYC list. Pop up to the second floor to see the engagement rings, trust me.
Last season, I fell in love with this clutch, and this season, my feelings for the bag haven’t waned at all. The Tiffany & Co. Sutton Clutch in Raspberry is ladylike yet approachable with its style. It’s a bag I want to carry often, not just for special occasions. The size allows it to fit more items, and because it’s not too tiny, it feels like the ideal companion for date night or a night out. Also, the color is out-of-this-world beautiful; deep in its pink hue but not overly so. It’s truly one of my favorite colors from the brand, on one of my favorite styles.
Accessorize with Tiffany & Co. Small Leather Goods
Inside your bag lies your must-have items, each one carefully picked out by you as a necessity for that bag, on that day. I always have my wallet, a card case, a pouch and so much more floating around in my bag. Tiffany & Co. expanded its small leather goods offerings as well, from wallets to coin pouches to yearly planners and beyond. Here are a few of my favorite things.
LOVE! The hot pink collection, OMG TDF!!!
i’m loving the Sutton clutch!
The sutton clutch is so sophisticated, so Tiffany’s! Please do a review of that clutch. Would definitely go on my must buy list.
Def will reach out to Tiffany & Co. for this!
These pictures are so stunning!!! Did Vlad take them? Can you review the Sutton clutch Megs?
Yes, Vlad took them! They came out beautifully 🙂
The Sutton clutch seems just beautiful. The color is gorgeous, and the size is just right. What a stunner! If you have it, can you do a review of that one?
Yes, I’ll see if I can get one to use and really try out from Tiffany & Co. to share with you all!
Lovely! Much needed post, I’d been upset with the lack of handbags in fashion week FW15. Team Purseblog forever!!!
So glad you love this post! Yes, the perfect pick-me-up!
The Sutton clutch reminds me of the Hermes Kelly Longe clutch. I prefer this one because the lines are cleaner! I would love to have one in classic Tiffany Blue!
That is the pink of my dreams.
It’s truly amazing, I’m obsessed with this pink color Tiffany & Co designed
Kudos to Vlad for the awe-inspiring photographs… especially the hot pink SLGs with matching macarons and roses!
One of my fav pics too! These pics are some of my fav Vlad has taken
impressive. love the bags!
If i hadnt been treated so rudely by T&Co staff id probably love these but its funny how a horrible experience can ruin a brand for you…
I’m sorry to hear that
Are you the lucky owner of all those yummy purses, Megs? My favorite is the Sutton, but I would not mind one of each.
Sadly no, just loaned pieces to photograph and play with!
My absolute favorite! I have been longing for the Olivia in color block, but the Cincinnati store hasn’t gotten it in (despite my repeated suggestions -sigh). Did you happen to get a shot of anyone carrying the Olivia for sizing? I often struggle picturing (or even measuring) bag sizes and, sadly, Cincinnati retailers don’t carry many of the best bags.
The Peyton is really really nice. I like it in the cobalt blue or the fog. Very classy. How would you describe the textured leather – is it like a shinier saffron? I saw some of the totes in Tiffany’s a couple years ago and they didn’t have as much structure, so I like this round a lot for the structure.
That pink is just gorgeous!! Vlad is one hell of a photographer!
I love the simplicity of these bags. Very Tiffany & Co.
Hi Megs loved All the bags you showcased! Particularly the Peyton and the croc one! Such clean elegant lines! Now I’m drawn to Tiffany’s
