I’ve spoken previously about the painted eel bags from Gryson, and I still just can’t get over the burgundy color that they’ve used for several of them, including the Gryson Painted Eel Morgan Clutch.
I was unsure about the painted finish when I first wrote about the technique in black, but the lovely color variation of the painted burgundy has me entirely sold. This large, functional clutch would be great for day or night, and with a variety of colors, don’t you think?
A fold-over is my favorite clutch shape, no doubt about it. I tend to drop things when I’m carrying them in my hands (which is how my first Blackberry met its untimely end – I blame the baby hands that I inherited from my mother), and this structure prevents too many things from escaping onto the sidewalk or bar floor. Or, I dunno, onto the floor of whatever super classy place that you might be going that I don’t go to.
