I was talking to my friend this morning after school drop-off when she had to pause our conversation to order her oat milk vanilla latte. ‘Your total is $6.90,’ I heard the barista tell her. She and I, both in unison, laughed out loud at the absurdity of a $7 coffee. While these little purchases are our daily norms, it is pretty jarring to think of a $7 coffee and every other once-accessible good going up drastically.
Obviously, the fashion world has seen prices rise across the board. Our favorite bags and brands raise prices to a degree that leaves many shoppers drastically changing their purchasing habits. I am hooked when I find something I like at a far more reasonable price. And one of the accessories I keep adding to my collection is the Polo Ralph Lauren Ball Cap.
The Most Affordable and Best Hat
I now own three Polo Ralph Lauren hats. I used to never consider myself a hat girl, but as my life has become far more on-the-go with two young kids, I find the need for a hat to cover my head much more of a must many days of the week. While premiere designer brands also offer hats, my Polo hats are flattering, stylish, a celeb favorite, and affordable.
While various options and materials are offered (don’t be confused; the one Taylor Swift is wearing is actually corduroy, not chino), if you don’t find the hat for you, Polo offers the option to customize a hat as well.
Customize Yours
While ample options are available for immediate purchase, Polo allows you to customize this hat. The base of the hat itself has a good mix of colors, but you can further customize it with the Polo Pony or other emblems, initials, and designs in different colors.
I’ve been playing around and making different variations of my beloved Polo hat, which is probably what some of the combinations the celebrities are seen with, too. For fall, a New Forest green with the brass logo fills my autumn-loving heart with all the cozy vibes.
Celebrity Fans
As I mentioned, the internet went wild when Taylor Swift was spotted in her Polo Ralph Lauren hat. I was also influenced to track down the corduroy versions and nab them while I could. Taylor is not alone in her love for this hat. Many other celebrity fans and repeat wearers, including Kendall Jenner, whose style I have loved lately under her stylist Dani Michelle’s keen eye.
The iconic Polo Pony logo remains beloved, and this hat proves it.
No thanks. I don’t need a logo in the middle of my forehead.
Gosh why are people like you reading these posts then? Every post there’s someone in the comments saying how logos are tacky and they hate celebrities and fashion trends. This whole blog is about purses! What’s that saying? If you don’t have something nice to say…
Maybe you should apply that saying to yourself?
It’s unfortunate but this logo is so omnipresent in discount stores that it’s completely lost its appeal. All I see is a pile of irregular shirts at Ross. I would never spend more than $12.99 on anything with the Polo Ralph Lauren logo.
I too was a long-time patron of Ralph Lauren’s collection. At one time even purchasing their leather goods, scarves and every shirt possible
But alas I concur with your observation. The brand “devalued itself” by partnering with the TJ Maxx’s & Ross outlets
Is Kendall Jenner wearing a Pliage tote by Longchamp ?
it’s the row terrasse
I love these hats! After you shared the first time I bought one and now I’m going to customize one too
