When Louis Vuitton presented its Fall 2023 collection earlier this year, it was ever-apparent that the collection as a whole was an ode to the Maison’s iconic history. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere continues to put a fresh, modern spin on Louis Vuitton’s most important House codes; the bags this season are a true testament to that.
As a whole, the collection pays homage to the mystery and elusiveness of French style. Fashion will forever be fixated on the art of Parisian style, and this exact allure inspired Ghesquiere’s creation of the Fall 2023 collection. As for the bags, they are a complement to the RTW, a true exploration of Louis Vuitton’s archives.
Today, we’re offering up a look at some of the standout styles from the Fall 2023 collection. These pieces are a true delight and will surely intrigue Louis Vuitton collectors.

New in for Fall 2023 from Louis Vuitton
This collection of bags features a nice mix of bags, both new and old. Silhouettes are an expression of the Maison’s history in trunk making, and this can be seen in new shapes like the Camera Bag and the Orsay bag. The Orsay bag embodies chic French style, striking a nice balance of casual and dressed up. The bag’s N-Lock closure clearly ties back to the archives, while the Camera Box features distinct details like rivets, metallic corners, and classic Monogram.
When it comes to fan favorites, icons like the Capucines and the Coussin, a new classic, are reinvented this season. What really takes center stage is the emblematic green and blue Louis Vuitton Paris 1854 motif, which draws inspiration from Parisian street signage.
This motif appears as a bag itself and is also used as a graphic atop seasonal iterations of classic shapes like the Speedy B, Neverfull, Alma BB, and more. Bags (and more) from Fall 2023 have begun to drop. Take a look below at campaign images and discover more now via Louis Vuitton.

Am I the only one who thinks $5200 for a Coussin PM is just ridiculous?
Its criminal haha
i kinda like the Orsay bag. the rest? might be not.
The orsay bag really caught my eye too. I also like that capucines with the applications, but not as much as the orsay
I love the green and blue color combination. Very classic.
What I don’t like is the Orsay. The hardware is overwhelming the simplicity of the bag. While I like the trunk with the huge Louis Vuitton on it, this does not look good on the Alma or the Speedy. The hair clips look like little vampire coffins.
I like the bag next to the camera box bag but not enough to purchase. Thanks goodness my wallet is safe!
Ohhhh! That Orsay bag looks very nice!
I like all of them, but love none of them. I only purchase what I *love*.
I thought the Orsay was Celine for a moment
I wish they would stop recycling names… it’s always confusing for people who’ve been with the brand for decades. Find new names!
I especially like the Orsay—just beautiful! The Capucines is darling in this version. And the street-plate bag is just… fun and quirky.
I thought the same thing; I have the Orsay clutch from many moons ago and wondered why the name is being reused on such a completely different style bag!
still just waiting to see the Epi Speedys…
Nothing exciting. They look stiff & heavy to me.
Much as I like LV, none of these appeal. I prefer the Tod’s Timeless shoulder bag to the Orsay (and the Tod bag is a LOT cheaper). The big Louis Vuitton Paris street sign bag (logo trunk bag) looks like a really expensive tourist souvenir that I would not want to be seen carrying in real life. As for the Camera Box bag, I would rather have the reverse monogram Petite Malle. The Top Handle Dauphine is … ok. Actually the only thing I want from the photos shown here is that plaid blazer in the first photo.
