When it comes to handbags, everyone knows what the holy grail is: the Hermès Birkin. And, increasingly, it’s not just any Birkin–the savviest collectors are on the lookout for limited editions, exotics, special orders and other rarities, and right now, there’s only one best place to the find them: the Heritage Auctions Spring Luxury Accessories Signature Auction.
The sale will happen April 4 at the Heritage Auctions headquarters in Dallas, when over two dozen Hermès crocodile pieces, as well as numerous one-of-a-kind special orders and collectors’ items, will go under the gavel. Among them are the So Black Alligator Birkin you see above, as well as one of the sought-after Himalayan Crocodile Birkins that are the keystone in so many major collectors’ closets.
