I appreciate when a brand hones in on a set number of bag designs that are working and reinvents them in new colorways, materials and sizes every season. Fendi is one of the brands that is best at doing this; the brand has a set number of big designs for the house and instead of churning out countless new designs, they stick with their bread and butter and every few seasons will bring a new, big design in. The minute Fendi introduced the Kan I, I loved it. The design did so well upon it’s release that Fendi had a hard time keeping it in stock.
Like many other Fendi classics, the Kan I is offered in a wide variety of options, and like many other Fendi bags, I’m always looking for my new favorite. I found a version that isn’t what I would usually go for, but I love it nonetheless. This pink Fendi Kan I is what spring dreams are made of, with the prettiest hue of pink leather, adorned with pink balls and dark whipstitching, which offers a nice contrast. There’s an almost holiday feel to the design, like you could carry this on New Year’s Eve but you could also take it on a picnic and it would be perfect foreground fodder for your ideal spring Instagram pic.
The Kan I design became an instant ladylike classic, and I’d love to add it to my collection.
