Would you buy it?

The handbag world just got a whole lot fresher thanks to Fendi and luxury perfumer Francis Kurkdjian with the introduction of scented Baguette Bags. Maison Francis Kurkdjian was founded 10 years ago by co-founders Francis Kurkdjian and Marc Chaya. Kurkdjian’s lifelong passion for perfume shines through in his work, and now he has teamed up with Fendi to create a first-of-a-kind scented leather. The fragrance, dubbed FENDIFRENESIA, is infused into the Baguette’s textured Italian leather using a signature technique developed by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. An exclusive patented technique ensures with a guarantee that the scent will last for up to three years.

Said to be a multi-sensory experience that explores the senses of touch, sight and smell, the scented Baguette is available in Fendi’s iconic yellow hue with a splash of white. It comes in the Baguette’s classic size as well as a trendy micro version with a magnetic clasp. Finished with a clip, which allows it to be attached to larger bags or belts, it can be worn across the body as well with the delicate gold chain strap. The internal structure of the leather is said to help it retain the FENDIFRENESIA fragrance, though the bags also come with a 5ml vial of the scent. The limited-edition bags start at $630 and are available exclusively online and in the FENDI Miami Design District boutique through December 20th.
