Fendi Celebrates the Year of the Dragon With a Special Pokémon Collab

Fendi icons are given playful touches...

Collaboration is at the heart of Fendi, and each season, the incredible partnership between Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi proves there is power in co-creative direction. This beautiful dynamic between the duo inspired Friends of FENDI, a series of collections and special projects celebrating the art of friendship.

The latest friend to participate is Japanese streetwear legend Hiroshi Fujiwara, a pal of Kim Jones since the late 90s. Fujiwara’s work goes well beyond fashion, cultivating many forms of creativity spanning the arts, music, and fashion. He has helped shape the global fashion world as we know it today.

FENDI x FRGMT X POKÉMON

Using codes from his brand, Fragment, Fujiwara has reimagined the iconic FF Jacquard logo, disrupting classic Fendi in the best possible way. Silhouettes like the Peekaboo ISeeU and Baguette are given the FRGMT treatment, presented with a new foldable Baguette shopper and soft hobo that streetwear addicts will love.

Furthering the collection, Fujiwara and Jones partnered with the Pokémon Company to outfit Fendi’s fan favorites with everyone’s most-loved Pokémon characters. Pokémon and Dragonite join forces with Fendi’s FF logo, offering a playful take on classics like the Baguette, Mon Tresor, Peekaboo, and more.

The most intricate piece sees a stunning beaded Baguette bag outfitted with intricate micro-beaded fringe and embroidery featuring three Pokémon. And while the collection itself is sure to delight fashionable gamers, this exciting collaboration finishes with a special version of the mobile game sensation Pokémon GO.

Pairing with the collection’s launch, beginning tomorrow, January 4th, 2024, players can discover digital avatar items featuring designs from the collection. Discover more below.
