Do you remember when the Fendi Karlito craze was at an all time high? I do. I put my name on a list and ended up purchasing Karlito and taking him on vacation with me and shared his pictures on Instagram. When it comes to bag charms, Fendi is top of mind, and for its Spring/Summer 2018 Collection Fendi welcomes playful Space Monkey and Banana charms.
Fendi again created a cheeky video that is fun to watch that shows off both charms as well as some beautiful bags (including this red Kan I and the new Peekaboo Essentially which I love). The SS 2018 collection was tropical inspired and each charm, while playful, also shows Fendi’s signature logo.
The Fendi Space Monkey Charm is offered in both a female and male version, both with a FF logo jacquard body, and spatial touches like oversized pearl eyes and a mohawk. The Space Monkey charms combine different materials to make the charm stand out, and after all, this is one of Fendi’s strong suits. The Fendi Banana Charm shows a yellow leather peel with a FF logo banana inside.
