Dining al fresco is what summer in NYC is all about

We couldn’t let June come and go without hitting up an NYC hotspot for a PB lunch with some cute little Coach bags in tow. When I saw these beautiful blue-and-white floral little ladies, I knew just the perfect place for our monthly handbag lunch: NYC’s Cafe Clover. I hit up Cafe Clover with my best babes a few months back for dinner and we loved it. We laughed over a bottle—okay maybe two—of rosé and ate pretty food. I was excited to head back for a lunch date with my PB ladies.

Cafe Clover is located on an adorable, quaint street in NYC’s West Village. The menu focuses on pure, simple ingredients, yet each dish has a bit of a twist. Though the restaurant does serve meat, there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which makes this place ideal for those with some dietary restrictions (insert the raised hand emoji girl here.) Cafe Clover’s meals are both health-conscious and delicious, but what makes this an ideal spot all around is the eatery’s ambiance. We chose to dine al fresco, an area which is adorned with cute blue-and-white tables and Parisian-style chairs. In short, this place is very Instagrammable.

Lunch Menu Price Point: Small plates from $5 to $13, Mains from $12 to $23.

Where: 10 Downing St. at Sixth Avenue, West Village.

What We Ate: Seed Crisps and Seasonal Hummus, Veggie Crudite, Crispy Cauliflower, Chopped Salad, Clover Salad with Chicken, and Cesar Salad with Chicken.

The Must Try: The Crispy Cauliflower was a big hit and was (seriously) delicious to the last very drop! After we finished eating, I found myself scooping up the little leftover pieces with the last of the seed crips we ordered.

What We Carried: Coach Rogue 25 in Pebbled Leather with Glitter Tea Rose, $895 via Coach and Coach Dinky in Glovetanned Leather with Glitter Tea Rose, $595 via Coach.

Bonus: You never know who you may run into at trendy Cafe Clover. On our way out, I spotted Victoria’s Secret Angel Romee Strijd heading in for lunch.
