Like many of you, long before I would even dream of working at PurseBlog, years before I had even applied to fashion school, I discovered PurseBlog because of PurseForum. I had been researching the cost of Louis Vuitton bags, either as an effort to figure out how much I needed to save to buy one or as a way to present my case to my parents for why they should buy me one.
Either way, the rest, really, is history, and now, 20 years after I first read PurseBlog, I sit writing this very post. What struck me even then about tPF was not only how loyal tPFers were, but how active they were on the forum. Each thread had its own personality, and I later learned that the Coach forum was one of tPF’s most active back in the day.
It was the heyday of Coach, so that is not surprising, with fans even nicknaming themselves the Coachies. Today, Coach is back in the limelight, having the renaissance it so deserves, and the Coach sub remains just as active as ever.
