There is no true summer season in fashion, but that doesn’t stop luxury brands from capitalizing on this very lucrative time of year when fashion’s elite are jetting off to St. Tropez or helicoptering over to the Hamptons.
For the one percent, a new raffia bag or matching set for the yacht is a must. After all, the beachwear and vacation-ready wardrobe from the resort season earlier in the year have already seen and been seen. That, my friends, is where a good summer capsule comes in.
Year after year, our favorite luxury brands revisit the season’s playfulness and release capsule collections separate from their more formal runway collections. The capsule collections are specifically geared towards summers by the sea, and Chanel is back this year to delight its loyalists on the lookout for something fresh with its Coco Beach 2025 capsule.

Summer the Chanel Way
Inspired by carefree days and laidback yet elegant nights, CHANEL COCO BEACH 2025 is full of dreamy pieces that ooze the simplicity of summer. Whatever is up your sleeve this season, Chanel has you covered. From sunbathing and swimming to “staying out till dawn,” there’s a Coco Beach look for you.
Ready-to-wear includes embellished swimsuits and lightweight knits, complete with chic accessories like swim caps and sunglasses. Sheer cover-ups can be worn over a swimsuit or as a standalone look. Elsewhere, a new tweed-terrycloth crafted especially for the capsule appears on sporty chic silhouettes, and stonewashed summer denim captures the relaxed appeal of the season.

The Bags of Chanel Coco Beach 2025
Bags see a seasonal take on classic House codes—oversized flap bags in quilted canvas, soft quilted shoulder bags, and totes to take you from the beach to the pool and back.
A fun terrycloth beachwear set is sure to be a collector’s favorite. It arrives in pink, white, and black and comes with a matching towel and pouch. Discover more below.

The summer/resort collection these brands have every year is just a cash cow with flimsy raffia, denim and cotton fabrics used for the bags that are dirt cheap to make and sold at outrageous prices
The models are gorgeous but at do the clothes look like an 8th graders sewing project gone bad?
None of these speak to me as “Lets look elegant sipping a cocktail by the beach in St Tropez…”. They are all very sloppy cuts and horrid fabrics. They actually look like when you used to get clothes for Barbies, they just had really rough and not flattering cuts. As for the bags, I think Chanel is saying with the white padded fabric that you must be CRAZY in the LOONY BIN to buy them (hence the fabric choice)
More like when grandma made Barbie clothes out of scraps she had
That first swimming costume looks horrendously uncomfortable
I’ll just purchase from Temu minus logo. Nothing special. Commercialism.
Oh? Nothing special. Just commercialism.
