This Week, Celebs Embrace Throwback Bags from Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga

As well as more recent offerings from Gucci, Dior and Alexander Wang

Nothing about this post looks or feels very 2018: There are power prints, corsets, cherry patterns, platinum blondes, 1940s-style day dresses, weird hats…it’s a real design hodgepodge this week, and it’s giving me an intense case of fashion deja vu. The very sight of this first Louis Vuitton bag may trigger a flood of nostalgia (good or bad) for whatever you had going on over a decade ago.

Kylie Jenner carried this Alexander Wang Thank You Clutch to a classy dinner at Carbone. I’m enjoying blond Kylie. Shop via Alexander Wang

Lady Gaga

Meanwhile, in Paris, Lady Gaga had lunch with this Balenciaga Le Dix Bag, which was designed by Alexander Wang during his tenure at Balenciaga. Shop Balenciaga Bags via Net-a-Porter

We swear this is Melanie Brown, carrying a Gucci Tian Backpack across LAX. No, really, it’s her! Shop Backpacks via Gucci
