Like it or not, when Taylor Swift steps out, people pay attention to what she’s doing, where she’s going, what she’s wearing, and every little thing in between.
The rumor mill continues to swirl regarding Taylor Swift’s inevitable engagement to boyfriend Travis Kelce, and while we’ve got nothing to report on that front, we do have to report on the latest Gucci bag Taylor was spotted carrying.
While Taylor used to be known for opting for more under-the-radar bags that typically lacked easily identifiable logos, in the last year her choices have changed, and it’s become commonplace to spot her carrying the latest from Dior or Gucci. This is a new era for Taylor, her taken era, and we are here for it.
While many are quick to critique Taylor’s style, there’s something to be said about her choices. They’re unique to her and personal, and that remains refreshing in this overly stylized and curated world.
Gucci Girl
Taylor, who has remained relatively under the radar since the end of The Eras Tour and Kelce’s Super Bowl loss, has had a busy few days out and about in NYC. Her latest NYC jaunt included dinner at hotspot Via Carota with Dakota Johnson and a Saturday evening outing with bestie Selene Gomez.

The bestie duo hit midtown’s iconic Monkey Bar for dinner and a yap session, and of course, Taylor showed up with a great bag in hand. The music mogul paired an all-black iteration of Gucci’s classic Bamboo 1947 with sky-high Gucci platforms and a simple yet elevated black set.
What are your thoughts on this bag and outfit combo?
Sorry Haters, she looks amazing!
Got old……
Taylor is an icon! Happy Pride!
I love her music (and I’m almost 50.) I consider myself a plain dresser, but I admire her style. I think this is a great outfit. I wish I was that confident when I was her age!
Ditto!
Not being a fan doesn’t make one a hater, some just prefer a different sounding voice.
Hers isn’t pleasant to my ears.
Agree! This was my point and I don’t find her particularly stylish especially when you consider the substantial wealth. Unfortunately, the blog seems to be overrun by people who immediately have to name call in an attempt to squash a different POV. Also wonder how much of the total adoration of her is herd mentality vs true appreciation of her as an artist. Anyway enough internet for today…
You’re the one who started with the name calling. Maybe revisit your post to refresh your memory. 🩷
Please keep spreading love
Love the shoes and bag
Will never understand Taylor mania, her music is terrible (unless you are 12) and she is completely unsophisticated. But horses for courses n’all….
And what does this have to do with her bag?
Have you listened to anything of Taylor’s besides ‘Shake It Off’ and ‘Love Story’ which is what I’m assuming your 12 year old comment is based on?
Yes one of my kids is the said age range. And yes I don’t love it but if you do good for you!
I’m not a Swiftie, but if she makes people happy where’s the harm?
Sure I agree, no harm liking her music is its your thing…
It’s ok! Keep revealing in your negativity. The rest of us prefer to spread love. 💕 🦄
Lol I suppose every thought other than total adulation is “revelling” in negativity. People are allowed to not like the same people you do.
But only weirdos take time to spread hate online.
✌️☮️❤️🌈
that dress is gorgeous
I like her music, I sing to it in the car constantly. But as soon as I see her carrying a bag, I instantly do not want that bag. She ruined the Chanel 25 for me. 🙁
Yikes – why insult your readers by referring to them as the ‘peanut gallery’?
I am sure that was not intended as an insult and more in jest, but I agree that it could be seen otherwise. I removed it. Thank you for sharing your feedback, we are always striving to do better for you all!
I always appreciate how you handle confrontations or difficult situations with grace and maturity. I imagine it can be difficult to remain neutral, at times, with content taken out of context or different POV’s. Many times authors, on here, can almost be vilified by the readers, but you rise above it and take the high road, which maybe comes naturally to you. You’re a problem solver with excellent conflict resolution skills and soothing over ruffled feathers is a good quality to have, IMO.
Thank you for your kind words. I genuinely appreciate them!!!
I consider every one of our readers and followers a part of our community and a customer who gives us immediate feedback! You will have feelings about what we share, have likes and dislikes, and are there to say when you think we messed up. I am open to hearing that and always want to do better!
I want to provide you all with a reprieve—a place where you can find something fun to talk about with like-minded bag and fashion lovers. I want it to feel welcome and safe! While I know bags aren’t the most ‘important’ aspect of our world, I am also a firm believer in finding things that bring you joy.
I think we all have different ways of communicating, and I want to be here for you all and do our best!
Not knowing much of her music, but she is undeniably one of the biggest self-made moguls out there. It takes artistic talent, (maybe not appreciated by all, but rarely any artist’s work is for everyone.) business acumen and personal strength. Beyond this achievement, she is a bona-fide role model when it comes to defying gendered expectations in relationships. She is the better-side of Carrie Bradshaw in real life. On that, I say she’s the most influential feminist in the best light. She seems to be living on her own terms, against all that tide.
So, for someone not knowing her music and doesn’t plan to, my hats off to her accomplishments and the empowerment she brings to the world.
This SO much!
Oh well nobody is talking about the “Classic Gucci”……
I have a new bag find, i need your opinion 💕
Let’s focus on the topic of the bag and platforms!
