For the last year and change, you might’ve noticed that a staggering amount of celebrity photos are staged right outside of the BUILD Series. Celebs don’t do this sort of grand fashion march for any other interview in NYC. Sure, maybe a fashion dash outside of GMA, Today or The Late Show, but nothing like this.
Well, today we’re going to explain what the hell Build Series actually is. OATH opened BUILD, a three-story, state-of-the-art live-streaming studio in downtown Manhattan, in January of 2017. If you haven’t seen it, think MTV’s TRL but from the ground up. It’s a similar idea: Create an intimate, well-lit space where fans and celebs can interact. But this time, fans don’t just interact in person, but from social media as well. And BUILD’s own social media outlets are pretty impressive. Peruse the curated celeb portraits on their Instagram, for example.
Their celeb interviews are live-streamed on the BUILD Series website, and, of course, exist in perpetuity on their YouTube channel. The BUILD Series (as a concept/interview series) has actually been around since 2014, but giving it its own building in downtown Manhattan dramatically increased its clout.
This is largely what’s to credit/blame for the fantastic bags (and looks) celebs now bring to the BUILD series whenever they have something to promote. Here are just a smattering of celebs that have graced the series with their presence in the last two months or so.
Amanda Seyfried
Here’s Amanda Seyfried, skillfully modeling a Givenchy Horizon Bag for us as she heads into the BUILD Series during her promo tour for the Mamma Mia sequel.

Chloë Grace Moretz
Chloë Grace Moretz swung by with this gorgeous blue Louis Vuitton New Wave Bag to discuss her recent film The Miseducation of Cameron Post.
Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen stopped in last month to discuss her new cookbook Cravings: Hungry for More. She brought a simple, svelte Balenciaga Everyday Bag.
Constance Wu

Jessie James Decker
Country-pop singer Jessie James Decker recently rolled through with a dark brown Chloé Nile Bag to talk about her new tunes.
Josephine Skriver
Model Josephine Skriver did a turn at the BUILD series to talk about the new BODY by Victoria line at Victoria’s Secret. She brought along a playful gingham Pop and Suki Lolita Bag.
Thandie Newton
The always glamorous Thandie Newton brought along a truly unique version of the Fendi Peekaboo Bag to promote her animated film Liyana. Her dress is Fendi as well.
Timothée Chalamet
Finally, we’ll finish off with a little man bag action: Here’s Timothée Chalamet, sporting a Louis Vuitton Crossbody as he heads in to talk about his film Beautiful Boy.
