After 11 days of red carpets, photo calls, parties and supermodels in nearly naked dresses, the 2016 Cannes Film Festival has come and gone, and now, all we have left are the pictures of absurdly attractive, absurdly wealthy people and their absurdly gorgeous handbags. Thankfully, that’s enough to tide us over until the next such gathering. (Paris Couture Week, probably.)
Below, we’ve sifted through thousands of photos from a week and a half of festivities to bring you dozens of bags, spotted on the arms of some of the event’s most notable attendees. The scenery doesn’t hurt, either.
Adele Exarchopolous
Louis Vuitton Petite Malle Clutch
There were a lot of LV looks at Cannes this year, but Adele’s was easily my favorite.
Barbara Meier
Chanel Grand Shopping Tote
Barbara won the second season of Germany’s Next Top Model, and her presence at Cannes already means her win was more fruitful for her than most of the American winners.
Blake Lively
Chanel Circle Evening Bag
After all these years, Blake is still one of Karl’s favorites.
Blake Lively
Roger Vivier Jaipur Pearl Minaudiere
$2,050 via Neiman Marcus
Blake has a lot of fashion-world suitors, though, so she spread her Cannes looks around a bit.
Chanel Iman
Charlotte Olympia Pandora Clutch
$628 via SSENSE
If I were an actress with a movie at Cannes, I’d be a little mad about all the supermodels flown in to upstage me on the red carpet for no reason.
Chloë Sevigny
Chanel Camera Bag
This film camera-shaped runway bag was practically made to be carried at Cannes by someone with a quirky fashion sense, and that’s exactly what its destiny held.
Doutzen Kroes
Goyard St. Louis Tote
If only we all may one day look this chic and unbothered one day when arriving at a hotel after an international flight.
Elle Fanning
Chanel 2.55 Flap Bag
I find it almost disconcerting to see a flat leather Chanel flap.
Eva Herzigova
Alexander McQueen Legend Bag
$1,756 via Neiman Marcus
I always get excited when a classic supermodel like Eva shows up anywhere.
Eva Herzigova
Dior Cannage Clutch
Naturally, she also showed up on a couple red carpets while at Cannes.
Eva Longoria
Salvatore Ferragamo x Sara Battaglia Sofia Bag
$3,700 via Ferragamo
Eva’s bag is part of a brand new capsule collection between Ferragamo and indie bag designer Sara Battaglia.
Faye Dunaway
Saint Laurent Monogramme Clutch
$1,550 via Net-a-Porter
So this is perfect.
Gala Weiss
Bulgari Serpenti Bag
Gala’s a new face for me, but this is a very cool dress and I like her lipstick.
Georgina Fleur
Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour Bag
$1,990 via Saks
Georgina is probably also a new face for you: she’s a German reality star.
Golshifteh Farahani
Roger Vivier Clutch
Shop Roger Vivier via Neiman Marcus
Golshifteh is an Iranian actress and musician who is very active in French cinema.
Gong Li
Louis Vuitton City Steamer Bag
Personally, I would love to be presented with flowers upon arrival to an airport.
Heidi Klum
Figue Tuk Tuk Tote
$795 via Shopbop
Heidi’s had this tote since last summer, and she carried it so frequently then that the brand named a similar model after her.
Helen Mirren
I’m not sure who made this bag, but you can’t leave Helen Mirren out.
Hofit Golan
Salvatore Ferragamo Aileen Gancio Bag
$2,100 via Saks
Hofit is an Israeli TV presenter who always manages to show up prominently at chic events like Cannes and Paris Fashion Week. A good gig if you can get it!
Inma Cuesta
Bulgari Serpenti Bag
Bulgari bags were more prominent at Cannes this year than at any event in recent memory. Then again, it’s probably true that people who watch Cannes closely and people with the money for Bulgari bags probably form a Venn diagram with significant overlap.
Izabel Goulart
Fendi 3Baguette Bag
$1,836 via Bluefly
Izabel is a Brazilian Victoria’s Secret model because, well, look at her. Of course she is.
Izabel Goulart
Fendi Baguette Bag
$2,000 via Barneys
She’s also a favorite of Fendi, who outfitted her for the trip to Cannes.
Jourdan Dunn
Fendi Peekaboo Bag
$3,150 via Saks
Speaking of supermodels with Fendi bags!
Julie Gayet
Chloé Hudson Bag
$2,150 via Nordstrom
Julie is a French actress and director, and she’s also the partner of French president Francois Hollande.
Karlie Kloss
Jimmy Choo Lockett Bag
$1,450 via Nordstrom
This little bag is a relatively new arrival, and it’s easily my favorite Jimmy Choo in years.
Karlie Kloss
Louis Vuitton Petite Malle Clutch
If you can’t look at the bag because you’re too busy staring at the bow on Karlie’s head, I can’t blame you.
Kate Hudson
Versace Palazzo Empire Bag
$3,108 via farfetch.com
I don’t think Kate attended in any official capacity, I think she was just, you know, around
Kirsten Dunst
Salvatore Ferragamo Sofia Bag
Shop Ferragamo via Saks
Kris Jenner
Dior Mini Lady Dior Bag
The best argument in favor of turning your family into a fame dynasty is that you get to tag along with your kids when they get hired to do something really good, like be model eye candy on a Cannes red carpet.
Kris Jenner
Hermès Crocodile Birkin
The second best argument is that it finances a really insane Hermès collection.
Kristen Stewart
Chanel Classic Flap Bag
Despite her years-long affiliation with Chanel, paparazzi almost never catch Kristen carrying anything other than a plain nylon backpack, so I was thrilled to spot her with this bag.
Leila Bekhti
Chanel Suede 2.55 Flap Bag
Leila acts in French-language films, which is great for those who speak French but terrible for me; I dig her slightly tomboy-ish aesthetic and I’d like to see her movies.
Leila Bekhti
Coach Rogue Bag
$795 via Coach
This is the first time I’ve seen the Rogue carried with the top handles tucked in and now I like the bag even more.
Livia Firth
Roger Vivier Tiffany Clutch
$1,395 via Neiman Marcus
Probably the ideal way to go to Cannes is as a plus-one; you get all of the parties and access, but you’re not technically on the clock at work.
Lottie Moss
Dior Diorama Bag
Yep, that’s Kate Moss’s little sister. (Well, half-sister.)
Michelle Jenner
Miu Miu Matelasse Bag
$1,590 via mytheresa.com
Michelle, on the other hand, is not at all related to the more famous family with the same last name.
Mischa Barton
Chanel Timeless Clutch
I hope the Mischa Barton resurgence continues, personally. I was a big fan of The OC.
Naomi Watts
Altuzarra Ghianda Saddle Bag
$2,195 via Barneys
Altuzarra’s bags are one of my favorite accessories debuts in years and I’m always excited to see one.
Paris Hilton
Chanel Classic Flap Bag
This bag is too big to be used as an evening clutch but I admire Paris’s commitment to the look nonetheless.
Paz Vega
Chanel Minaudiere
That’s more like it.
Rossy de Palma
Gucci Sylvie Bag
$2,490 via Gucci
Rossy is a Spanish actress who has a film at Cannes literally every year and then I don’t see her again until the next Cannes.
Sasha Lane
Louis Vuitton Petite Malle Clutch
American Honey, which debuted at Cannes, is Sasha’s first role as an actress. Not a bad way to start things off, eh?
Victoria Beckham
Victoria Beckham Half Moon Bag
$2,500 via Net-a-Porter
This bag is one of those that’s so simple that it sometimes looks boring in stock photos, but I love it on Victoria.
Victoria Silvstedt
Alaïa Laser-Cut Tote
$4,160 via Net-a-Porter
As far as I can tell, Victoria exists exclusively in Cannes, which seems great.
Victoria Silvstedt
Dolce & Gabbana Lace Mini Bag
Shop Dolce & Gabbana via Saks
If nothing else, Victoria always looks like she thoroughly enjoys it.
Xenia Tchoumitcheva
Bulgari Serpenti Bag
The important things for you to know about Xenia is that she refers to herself a Swiss-Italian Londoner with Russian origins and she has good hair.
