Between the LVMH awards in Paris and the CFDAs in NYC this week, we were not hard-pressed for celebrity bag picks, by any means, but they are overwhelmingly Louis Vuitton. I suspect there will be few complaints. Other celeb summer favorites are cropping up quickly: The STAUD Bissett Bag and the Tod's Sella Bag have both seen a steady uptick in celeb endorsement in recent weeks. And, of course, we can always depend on a strong resurgence of white bags (and bare legs) from now through Labor Day.
Alexa Chung was spotted ambling around NYC with this white STAUD Bisett Bag. If you are suffering from designer handbag fatigue, this style's sharp, rigid lines may appeal to you. Shop the STAUD Bissett Bag via Net-a-Porter ($375)
Emma Stone was recently in Paris to help present fashion's LVMH Grand Prize, which went to Masayuki Ino of Doublet this year. She carried a Louis Vuitton Top Handle Bag, and wore an outfit from Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2019 line to the ceremony at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. We don't know this bag's name quite yet—it's brand new and not available for the moment.
Jaden Smith also attended the LVMH Grand Prize award ceremony in Paris, and he came fully outfitted in LV for the occasion, of course. He carried a Louis Vuitton sling bag, and his jacket is obviously Louis Vuitton. The bag, like Emma's, is not out yet.
Here's Jennifer Lopez, heading into Jimmy Kimmel with an Hermès Birkin. She's doing the late night circuit to discuss her new music, her final season of Shades of Blue, and A-Rod.
Kourtney Kardashian is in NYC this week to help Kim celebrate her CFDA award. She's seen here carrying a barely-there Louis Vuitton HL Mini Speedy Bag. Recently, Kourtney has demonstrated a strong aversion to real pants. Shop the Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy via Louis Vuitton ($1,100)
Cate Blanchett headed to the airport with a the newly trendy Tod's Sella Bag and a pair of very fancy daytime pajamas. Shop the Tod's Sella Bag via farfetch.com ($1,359)
