I have been waiting since early spring for the fashion color splash that usually occurs as soon as the weather warms up, and frankly, I don’t feel like we got it in full force this year. Maybe that’s because spring was slightly delayed in NYC, and other parts of the world take their cues from New Yorkers. In any case, celebs clung to their neutrals a lot longer than usual this year, but I’m pleased to see color creeping in a bit now, albeit in early August. A large part of that color burst, however, seems to be due to the sudden omnipresence of the Louis Vuitton New Wave Bag.
