With Daniel Lee at the helm of Burberry, quintessential British heritage remains at the forefront of the brand’s ethos, with a touch of modern realism too.
While the brand continues to transform and undergo change in this next chapter, one thing is clear: Daniel Lee remains committed to the brand’s storied roots. For Spring 2025, Lee melds his innovative, creative spirit with Burberry’s classic roots.
There is an ease to the elegance presented, one that is pragmatic and wearable. Quintessential outerwear sees refreshing updates that reflect the brand’s history with updated touches. Elements traditional to the brand’s archetypal trenches are reconstructed in new fabrics like linen and silk poplin.
While throughout the collection, there are hints of elegant luxury, like flowy maxi skirts and embellished dresses, the collection as a whole is inspired by a sense of adventure.

That sense of adventure carries over into the bags, which also tie back to the outdoors. Classic Burberry Check sits alongside smooshy, grained leather, suedes, and interesting patchwork check leather. Silhouettes are relaxed and consumer-friendly, meant to be worn and lived in.
True to his vision but a bit pared back from his prior collections, the Spring 2025 collection feels inherently Burberry but with a contemporary spin. Traditional Burberry House codes are reinvigorated in a colorful palette that feels light and fresh. View more from the runway below.

The Bags of Burberry Spring 2025

We were just visiting the Burberry store here in Houston and OMG everything is so drab and sad. To me, the brand has really lost its way and its appeal. I own a lot of clothes from Burberry Prorsum—that was the most exciting era for the house.
Burberry really lost its appeal with the Tisci but I’m hoping Daniel Lee brings the brand back to its glory days
Absolutely agree about Burberry Prorsum. Loved everything about that time. The clothes, ads, models. I remember fawning over the ones capturing Emma Watson. Christopher Bailey was magic then.
The store in Scottsdale just took down their velvet ropes that have been up for 4 years in hopes to lure people in. The store is dark and outdated in comparison to the other luxury stores.
Agree!
I’m so confused. Daniel Lee was brilliant when he was at Bottega Veneta and completely revived the brand. He’s done nothing for Burberry, in fact I think he’s made it worse.
I tend to disagree. In my opinion, he ruined BV:
Nothing exciting here.
to my surprise, I acctually love these bags!
It’s been a while since Burberry has excited me – I think the nail in the coffin was that episode of Succession.
Ooh which episode?
I think the hobos give off a strong Gucci vibe.
But I think over all everything is beautiful.
I like how the check print is subtle by only being present in the strap.
The soft slouch makes everything more relaxed
I actually like a lot of these! Much better than the last collection!! I can’t wait to check them out.
