New Versions of the Bottega Veneta Andiamo Are Here

Fresh proportions and colors are here just in time for summer

Bottega Veneta East West Andiamo

Last month Bottega Veneta debuted its pre-fall 2023 collection, which showcases Matthieu Blazy’s modern approach to everyday wardrobe-essentials. For Blazy, it’s about designing cool clothes that are easy to wear but still possess the ultimate luxury feel. The bags are a true compliment to the RTW pieces, and for Pre-Fall 2023, Blazy continued to focus on staple House motifs. One of those staples is the new Andiamo bag, which has already been on the rise to ultimate It-bag status in its short life, and the Andiamo is here to stay for Fall and beyond.

Let’s Go With New Versions of the Bottega Veneta Andiamo

Offering a uniquely elegant functionality, the Andiamo is Matthieu Blazy’s further exploration of classic Bottega Veneta seen through a new lens. First launched earlier this year, it pairs signature elements of the House with a modern finish, all wrapped up in a lovely little package named after the Italian way of saying “let’s go,” which is essentially an ode to what the bag is intended to provide; the perfect everyday grab and go handbag.

Blazy’s Pre-Fall lookbook gave us a look at the House’s latest addition to the Andiamo family, and today that bag is finally here. New in, the Bottega Veneta East/West Andiamo combines all of the elements classic to the Andiamo, including the iconic BV Knot hardware, reinvigorated in a new, elongated East/West shape, which works really nicely on the small-sized frame. New colors outfit the new shape, including a stunning lilac hue called amethyst, while the classic small Andiamo is here in summer-ready shades of yellow and green.

These are pretty…expensive!

Called it three months ago, but also has nobody seen Bethenny Frankle’s review on this garbage???! It’s the worst made bag aesthetically and functionally that bv has made in a loooong time. Don’t be fooled by the hype.

Matolo

It is the most beautiful bag BV has made in a long time. I don’t know what Bethenny has talking about. She didn’t get or like the design and that is all right. But the quality is great, and Blazy has really upped the BV game in that regard. It is back to old Bottega.

tara

Who cares what Bethenny Frankles reviews is; Ha, reviews coming from a reality star, please. it’s about what each person like and have the money to spend on. stop with such negative feedback.

James

Every comment from you is the same: filled with negativity…
That you even take in account a “review” from someone like Bethenny Frankle says enough.
Also if she really hated that bag so much, why did she buy it in the first place….
“Called it three months ago”.. lol

tara

Exactly! again, opinion from a reality star. What a real joke.

Gigi

I didn’t even know Bethenny Frankle was still alive!

Ella

I was eyeing the one in the sage green but after watching her review it’s a no!

I’d suggest checking it out for yourself in-store. Her review is how she views it, and some of the points she brought up are worth checking out, but I think she is looking to go in on luxury bags in those reviews – and that is fine – but not fully without a motive. An overly negative review or a big-ticket item will get more traction and views!

Yes, she can be unnecessarily harsh, critical and opinionated. I give no validity to her arguments or opinions. I’ve watched her over the years and she has deep seated emotional scars perpetrated by her Mother, but that’s a story for a different platform.

tara

True; just check it out in person and get the feel of it.

I just love reading the comments section in the purse blog! Very entertaining!

I have seen one of the earlier version at the airport carried by a traveling executive by the look of it. It is a solid bag but not extraordinary. I especially feel uneasy about the strap going through the openings.

Cathy

New to this format here. But wanted to share that I see the strap closure and easy operation to be a real plus for this bag. Much easier than zip bags that are two tight.

Sandy

This is one of the BV bags I like but not sure I would spend the $4100.00 on BV, I would buy another Chanel bag instead.

tara

true for $1,800 more give or take.

pinksky777

Hahaha that’s funny because Chanel can’t make a quality bag to save their life. They literally fall apart at the seams but because of ppl like yourself who keep stupidly dishing out the money they keep thriving. It’s really an amazing world we live in.

You sound like you have been hurt and you come on here to try and hurt people. Your comments on so many threads on the purseblog are always of the same vein. Angry and negative. Maybe consider a break from the Purseblog for your mental health and some healing. I mean it’s a place for handbag lovers not vitriol right?

tara

Just maybe they been literally burnt money wise and is breaking out with negative harsh words of experience and opinions. at the end of the day people like what they like no matter the price or how it’s made.

Sandy

I have several Chanel bags and I have not had a negative experience with quality, EVER! Do you even have a Chanel bag or are you talking out of your…..

tara

same here; I just take great care of my handbags. To the worst made designer handbags is Valentino.

Mia

I totally agree with what you said about Chanel but what a needlessly harsh way to say it!

mel

damn who hurt you

FashionableLena

I saw this bag in person this week, and I wasn’t impressed. It did not look like a $4500 bag. The long strap is ver flimsy. This bag should be more in the $3000 range.

tara

ump!

Helena

So you would pay $3,000 for a flimsy strap?

kemilia

Not for me. I’m old school BV–carrying one of my baseball cervos, this one is the fiery orange color (don’t remember the name). It holds everything and has worn well. But I keep on checking out what’s new.
