Brand blogs can be a little dry and sales-y, but some designers and retailers do a much better job than others of offering insight, news and behind-the-scenes peeks into the fashion world. Bergdorf Goodman’s blog, 5th/58th, has long been one of the industry’s best and one of our personal favorites, but even we were blown away by the beautiful photo series that BG recently published, which details the intricate process of assembling a Christian Dior bag.
Bergdorf recently opened a new, in-store Dior handbag boutique at its Manhattan flagship, and although details on the photos are scarce, it appears as though the retailer sent a photographer to the designer’s French handbag atelier to create this series for the occasion. We’ve included ten of our favorite snaps below, but you can check out many more in the extensive feature on 5th/58th.
