Number 3 and 10 are definitely on my to buy list.

    • Those are two that I use in my everyday routine and I can’t say enough nice things about both of them.

        Thanks for the info!

Some of the rose products look intriguing, and it seems that they are everywhere now. Old school Nivea is still the best lotion to use on dry skin. Good lotion, not as pricey as some of these, and easy to get. For my face, I’ve been using the Tarte Maracuja oil. Love that stuff.

Great list! For me, the original La Mer is the ultimate facial moisturizer, especially at night. I will definitely try some of the others on your list, too.

I know it is overpriced and overhyped but man, it gets the job done!!!

Winters are harsh where I live and I am an avid skier – so I take extra care:
    a. twice a week I get a 10% AHA lotion (Paula Begun’s) + Estee Lauder revitalift mask overnight – the combo is amazing
    b. I read about a prima ballerina’s trick to use a homeopatic callendula cream – meant to help with skin lesions, burns etc. – as an overnight mask – I wake up with velvet skin and any redness diminished .

  • Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration – I live in a tropical country so my skin is not used to cold weather AT ALL. I bought this before a trip to the UK at the tail end of winter, in anticipation of what the weather will do to my face and it did its job very well. I didn’t have any dry patches or peeling at all, and my skin was soft and supple when I woke up.

Body Shop Shea Body Butter – my “heavy duty” body lotion. It’s not greasy like most body butters. It’s thick and heavy but is surprisingly easily absorbed by the skin. I love the way it smells, too. And yes, I took two big plastic tubs of this with me to the UK and used it all up in as many months.

I want to buy everything on this list! I’ve been loving Jurlique rose water toner lately and have been using Clinique moisture surge for years. It makes my dry rosacea prone skin happy.

FAB Ultra Repair Cream is garbage, but their PR Girl works overtime so it’s on every blog. I wonder if the ByTerry balm is better than Dior Creme de Rose? I’ve yet to find anything better than the Bite Beauty lip mask for moisturizing lips.

I love the Seaberry Moisturzing Face Oil by Fresh! It’s the best “wrap it all up” face oil I’ve tried and a few drops also does wonders for my hair.
